Excellent service, My VW T5 Caravelle was using excessive oil, at the time we didn't know about a factory fault with it's CFCA type engine. VW dealers simply told me that I have to replace the engine as the top was blown... Kluyts Hersteldienste agreed to remove the top to have it tested, the top was fine so he ordered a new gasket from Germany as VW South Africa didn't have stock. During this time he also noticed that the positions were lapping so ordered and replaced them as well. Unfortunately after putting everything back together the oil usage was not resolved. Kluyts Hersteldienste this time removed the bottom end and found that the crank shaft had a hairline crack.I decided to cut my losses and imported a new engine from the UK. I'm very thankful for the excellent workmanship that Kluyts Hersteldienste offered when the VW dealers were unable or unwilling to assist. They really went out of their way to assist me. In my opinion there's no one more knowledgeable when it comes to this highly sophisticated Bi-Turbo engine.
