Value for the money, warm welcoming staff. Walls not the cleanest but linen is clean. Easily accessible. Nice check-out muffins.Book online, pay online, have al, documents ready on arrival except they also want imprint of your card at times. Convenient location.

Booked here four times in a space of 3 weeks. Staff is condescending, non helpfull. All the rooms i was given had atleast something wrong. No aircon working, plugs dont have covers over them, no toilet paper in rooms, the bathroom taps come out of the basin, the shower heads isnt a shower head like your showering with a garden hose. Even had a guest of the hotel reverse into my car that was parked in parking lot, trying to run away and drive off . I had to open my room window scream out and go to parking lot half dressed just to stop them. I get the fact that it isnt a fancy place but small things like these can be fixed 2star or not. Will never again be staying at any road lodge hotels and i will not have any family members, work colleagues or friends even take a chance of booking here again. Ive given them four chances and wasnt worth it.

Road Lodge Rivonia serves breakfast with dead and live ants, plus their coffee machine also gives you coffee with dead ants. I am staying in this hotel for quite long and have already noticed this few times. I have reported this issue to the general manager when I second time noticed dead ants in the food, but again I have seen it Today. I think this hotel needs serious attention to this issue.I feel that this hotel is only for Stay and not for Breakfast / Food.

We arrived in South Africa 10hrs ago, 4hrs of sleep and a walk to find coffee. Road Lodge Rivonia. Awesome staff, so friendly, helpful, and understanding of weary visitors. So we went back for dinner. Thank you so much, everyone. The Tapas was beautiful, very good wine and excellent beer. Kanyon, our waitress was so lovely, helpful with advise and great sense of humor.The food very very good. Sorry the photo does it no justice. It looks so good and tasted so good I forgot to take the photo until we'd eaten most of it. Great outdoor atmosphere, weather balmy, DJ good and sunset perfect.Thank you everyone.

This is an nice quiet place but needs improvement on service providing, maybe it was because I came when there was an event but we had totally no proper service, we called constantly to reception with no answers to come find the receptionist dancing with the people of the event , which was nice and homely to see but what about the rest of the guests that need assistance? We had to physically go to reception everytime we needed something even if it was just to order food. The rooms are rather acute and the room we booked the aircon/heater didn't work. I was surprised that there wasn't any shampoo and conditioner or shower caps in the bathroom compared to other hotels I've been to. But besides the faults I'd give it a 6/10 as the food was great and it didn't take long but other services and amenities didn't make the stay too relaxing.

I did not stay there. I dropped a work colleague off. But in reception it did not seem like a bad place to spend a night or two on business. I'm sure if I slept over I would have a better rating for the place.

no proper room service and very rude staff also the bathroom have no privacy since there is no door in the bathroom I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Hotel facility is average and location is close to Rivonia center very convenient but noise was a huge problem there was zero sound insulation can hear people walking, opening and shutting doors, no hair drier in room and window does not seal proper when closed which is annoying!

This hotel deserves 5 stars just for the staff. I had an issue and spoke to Gabs. Very remarkable young man. The vents in the roomhas a slight hissing sound. I didn't need that coming off a long flight and training today. I've been ip for almost 18 hours. He listened, made a suggestion regarding what he thought was amicable. I rejected his suggestion to which he offered to do a wake up call for me in case I overslept. The noise was for ventilation post covid and unfortunately cannot be stopped. Listening to it now seems inconsequential. Great pizza too from the kitchen staff. Will definitely be returning. Give this man a raise.
