If you're not a fan of the crowds at Skukuza, then this is a great alternative! There is a grab and go" option and a relaxing go-slow restaurant option. Sit down for a cocktail at the bar or get your coffee to go.The restrooms are comfortable

Very pleasant experience. The setting in the old railway station is beautiful and the service was efficient. Some welcome improvements to the menu since about a year ago, but the service could be a little quicker. Certainly a welcome alternative to the business of the main section of the Skukuza camp.

A sensational experience, set in an old train station of the 1800s , a product of the Great British Empire and the Afrikaner / Voortrekker history. The ambiance and atmosphere is palpable whilst you indulge on a superb dish ,all whilst surrounded with the immense natural beauty of Africa. The pizza we had was sensational, the staff were friendly and the service was good. Even though we visited during peak season ,and the restaurant was busy, we easily got a reservation and the time spent waiting for the order to arrive was minimal.Certainly a place to bring your significant other for a pleasant dinner.Perhaps some day you can afford to stay in the perfect, train bridge accomodation. But until then ,the restaurant also makes you feel like a member of Victorian British nobility, dining in escapist splendour.

This place is beautifully decorated with an incredible dining menu too. They offer wood fired pizza along with gourmet burgers and awesome salads set within an old railway station. There is an old train that was built in 1940 and used by the South African railway station back in the day. They have a gift shop , trendy bar and an adorable play area for kids too. This Georgous restaurant gave me a feeling of being Alice in Wonderland. I felt as though I went down the rabbit hole and found myslef in a little piece of paradise. Its especially enchanting after a full day game drive within the park. Spoil yourself to a meal in this restaurant. The decor and atmosphere is world class..

Decided to go for an early Supper on Friday, 10th February 2023 at Kruger Station. Arrived to an empty Restaurant with only 1 table seated.Wasn't welcomed with open arms. Told the waitress that we wanted to eat Supper and wish to sit down to order pizza. Was abruptly told that we need to order pizza from the take away and sit at the bar area.Found this suggestion very rude and unfriendly. We have had breakfast and supper at Kruger Station on more than one occasion and was seated in the Restaurant.I had to order our drinks from the bar area, after placing the order for pizza takeaway at the takeaway counter. We had to wait for the pizzas, then eat pizzas from the box in the bar area.Only a red pepper grinder on the table, no salt, no condiments, no serviettes, no service about the food or the drinks, or a refill drink. For the price one pays, one would expect some service.A Margherita pizza isn't cheap. Add bacon, add feta, add avo and you have an expensive pizza with 2 slices with no cheese even present, not even a large pizza.Asked for butter for the Foccacia my husband ordered. Was abruptly told at the counter where one orders that they already place butter on. Not very customer orientated.Perhaps staff can get away with this attitude with International tourists, but for locals who pay high tariffs for accommodation and food at Skukuza, it is unacceptable.

We had a lovely time, and the food was tasteful and well prepared. The beverages were refreshing and ice cold. The atmosphere was great, and the coaches were in good condition. The service was slow and waited a long time for the food.
