Terrible experience. Ordered our food and it took forever (whilst the restaurant was empty).As the food was taking so long we asked to get it in a takeaway and once it arrived it was in a terrible condition (photos attached).Avoid at all costs

We have been coming to The Grand in Plett since they opened and previously Equinox. We decided to come for sushi today and have been very surprised at how the management has been appalling - no still water, tuna, avo, celery for bloody Mary’s, and couldn’t prepare us a Caesar salad. Service from our waitress was lovely and tried to accommodate our family. Just very disappointing - as we come from a background of hospitality management - a plan can always be made to give quality service to patrons.

My husband and I got married here on the beach , dined and celebrated at the Grand Africa Lookout Restaurant.It's truly is a beautiful restaurant to have a special occasion.Thank you to the chef and his team for the delicious food the professional staff and Elzaan for making our day run smoothly . We couldn't had asked for more. ☆

So sad that this wonderful location offers such poor food….. I’ll not detail the faults as it would serve no purpose. Needless to say management were apologetic but that also serves no purpose. Sure during season with a high turnover of customers you may be able to get away with it but certainly not in the longer term or out of season.

Views and ambiance and decor are spot on. Unfortunately I didn’t order well, other dishes sounded great but I opted for a pizza which wasn’t what I had expected, floury and biscuity. I was very hungry so ate three slices out of eight. They didn’t have the wine we ordered. For a top notch restaurant I was underwhelmed.

We had our wedding at this incredible venue, and it was by far the most magical day of our lives! The Grand team went out of their way to accommodate all of our requests and bring our dream day to life! The food was superb and all of our guests loved our beachy soiree! Sharing our day with our loved ones in this beautiful location was absolutely magical. If you’re looking for a fabulous time, this is the spot!

Very disappointing offering on our pizza meal.My vegetarian pizza with marinated grilled vegetables" had the sum total (possibly) of one courgette worth of rounds and about 6 aubergine semi circles. Not a single other veg in sight :-( Not even a mushroom.My husband's chicken pizza had barely half a chicken breast worth of meat. Our Maltese gets more chicken per evening meal.Sorry

Service was not okay for that high amount of money. Nobody ask is food is okay, no dessert offered, no thank you" after a good tip.......Would not go a next time.....Therefore prices are too high...Food was good indeed"
