Awesome place a must visit

Awsem place really nice and relaxing, just need to work on their bookings, made a mess up with ours and made us loose a day, that we could of had more fun

Simple, away from the beaten track and authentic. The river's water is drinkable, the landscape's stunning, the few locals who live here are extremely friendly. Africa without filters. I will come back

It was quite an experience I enjoyed every moment especially the hiking and the place was spotless

A secluded getaway with no cellphone reception and scenic views of the valley. A swim in one of the dams is highly recommended. The water in the river is pristine and the forest-like surrounds makes for a great hike.

From the look and feel of the accommodation and hiking trails it seems like this place is relatively unused the cabin we stayed in was clean and had an amazing bathroom, the cabins vary in sizes from 4 to 6 to10 beds per unit as well as an additional, very secluded honeymoon cabin that runs off solar lighting and gas powered refrigeration, the hiking trails can be a little challenging to navigate in some parts but you are able to find the markings if you mistakenly wonder off the path, there is small swimming pool at a communal braai are next to a stunning waterfall there is also horseriding that one can book for some alternative adventure, the roads in the venue are quite rough but if you drive carefully a small commercial car can get around.

This place is beautiful. The owner was an absolute gentleman and very helpful. If you come here you will be in good hands by the owner and staff and before you leave you will be planning your next visit back. . Thank you Pieter.

The accommodation is beautiful, and stunning views. They have to start maintaining the roads especially the one going to Bremer house. Make sure you do not go there if you do not have a 4wdrive. Hiking trails are not marked clearly and you get lost frequently.

The hike is intense, and if you have any difficulty with steep climbs, steep desents, or thick underbrush, this one is not for you.The trail is in some areas poorly marked, due to the terrain and plant life, despite attempts to mark it. If you are looking at going, here are a few tips:Enter through first gate and look out for the foot path signs on your left. These will eventually take you to a road.STAY ON THIS ROAD. You will pass another gate (Fourie Farm) and through another on the same road.Youll move down a slippery decline,lits of slate. Eventually the path kinda gets lost. Keep pushing forward. Move through some pretty short green foliage that appeara as you near the river.At one point the path kinda... Disappears. You need to climb through a wire fence to get to the next path marker.Fairly well marked from there. If you lose the path there are markers every 30m or so. If youre walking for a while and dont see any, go back and reorientate.Beautiful waterfalls and rock formations with a massive meadow in the middle of the hike. Take lots of water and snacks. The river water where it was safe to drink from was awesome!

Looked forward to a beautiful day out, but was very dissapointed. The place is very neglected, very sad to see as this could be a gem!
