applied in 5min after arriving - no problem. Queue outside to pay is 4 hours long, no one to make a cut off for the day - miserable and hopeless.

I went there on 07/10/2019 and I must say it is a major improvement from my previous visit in 2013 but there is still room for improvement. The ques were well structured and manged. Payment process was very quick. The licencing centre is much cleaner than previously and staff was helpful. You can only pay with a debit/credit card, cash is no longer accepted.On the downside: 1. The process takes much longer than expected even though I did make an online booking. In total I was there for about 3hours, 1hour before my booking and 2hours to complete the application process. 2. They did not accept eye test from an optometrist, you still need to do the eye test at the licencing centre.FYI, check if you have any outstanding traffic fines as you might not be able to do your licence until they have been paid.

The appointment was good, but Centurion doesn't even display not even to indicate that there are no available appoints and for which period.Process was quick for appointment, but no clear indications of where to queue and the payment queue is huge.There are at least people to assist.You'd be under the impression that there wasnt a booking system when looking at the payment queue.Payment process has not improved over the years it seems. We'll see when I eventually get there.At least I was told to bring my own copy of ID.l and cash.The last time I wanted to be sure to pay by card not cash specifically for this.An improvement non the less.

Absolute worst service ever! Had an appointment, for drivers licence renewal, but the representative was 25 min late. Eventually I was attended to, only to hear that my name is not on their list, yet I have the booking confirmation. Thereafter the representative said she will only help me if she attended to 5 other people first. Those people had no appointments. After an hour I was helped and then suddenly it didn't matter if my name wasn't on their list.

The station it self is fine. Do not listen to anyone outside of the office, they will try to make you pay fictitious traffic fines. If you go inside and ignore everybody outside, you will be helped just fine.

This was one of the worst experience of my live , No cleaning of hands , No temperature was taken No book was completed with detail on who was visiting the center. The security is hanging in her chair on her cell phone. Nobody to direct you to the wright department. Standing in ques for 2 hours just to be greeted by the most rude personnel. Please do not put people in positions that is not trained for the job .Security think she is running the company rude rude rude. Place is falling apart (chairs inside) then they threatened you that if you do not sit they would not help you ?????? and extremely dirty.

Staff are friendly and proffesional, and do their best to serve everyone in the time slot that was appointed. The staff are really great and use the system that they were given to the best of their ability, my license card renewal appointment was at 08:35 and I was done by 08:45

The license application service was excellent but the collection takes longer than the application. Waited for 1.5 hours and was assisted outside the building where we signed forms on a bench and not in the order that we were in the queue. The grounds are full of litter, potholes and broken infrastructure. The security cameras have been moved so that they are pointing towards the sky or the ground. Why?

The worst place! . My daughter went for a driver's lisence and was treated badly by the instructor.He was menacing from the start, threatening to fail her before test because she left ID in car but had copy.The instructor tricked her into turning into no entry path in order to go to the test ground. The no entry sign is hidden and is not on both sides. She failed right there before going to do the test. He was hostile and unfriendly. That was Friday 9th.Today Monday 12th, she passed at Midrand. The place is chilled and staff is friendly. The instructor praised her driving and K53 obedience. I saw many people passing in Midrand, unlike Waltloo which likes bribes and has annoying runners all over.

I got an online booking @ Watloo 28 September 2021, after the photo and eye test (which I provided - not tested there), I paid the fee of R228, handed the the required documents and was informed to check back in 6-8weeks for card collection. On the 8th week, I was informed that there was something wrong with my card and had to go back to Watloo. On 12 November 2021, I was told that the problem was with my photo and a new photo had to be taken. Photo taken, documents handed in. Again was told that the process has restarted and to check back in 6-8weeks. This is actually the 9th week now, and confirmed that there is STILL SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY CARD. PHOTO !!!! Each time, I asked the testing person if all is correct, photo, signature, eye test etc etc....every time, all is well. Handed in my documents, paid the fee and wait. WAIT FOR WHAT, I have to travel back and forth (moving into the 5th month now) and still something is wrong with the photo/card. How many photos are they going to take? How long am I going to wait? Pathetic service, pathetic staff. Will not advise anyone to go for DL renewal @ Watloo !!!!
