This charming 9 hole course is an absolute must-play for anyone looking to play a round in the Boland area. While the course design is highly suited to the average golfer, it certainly rewards braver players who can hit a draw off the tee or thread a tee shot through tight gaps between trees. Both the staff and members are incredibly friendly and at R100 for a full round, the experience just can’t be matched. My only wish is that they sold Montagu Golf Club-branded golf balls so I could have bought one as a memento to remember my time there. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area though!

Had 2 days of golf whilst at Avalon Springs and the club members made us feel so at home. Would recommend a round of golf to all visiting or staying over at Avalon / Montagu Springs and relax in the spring water after the game.Greens looking absolutely superb

#golf #golfinsouthafrica slightly overpriced but a gteat little course. Nice clubhouse and very friendly staff. There are carts for hire and a very nice bar/lounge area. Overall a nice place to play a round.

One of the friendliest and welcoming clubs in the Western Cape. Opening a proper kitchen that serves meals, breakfasts etc will benefit the club immensely, especially for golfers playing in groups. It's an average 9 hole golf course in the wine and river valley and possibly one of the best value for money golf courses, keeping this in mind you 100% get what you paid for. Also managed by a small team. Well done to the committee and the team working there!
