Snobbish woman was scornful about my request for an inexpensive strap for an inexpensive sports watch, saying Just buy another watch". I told her that I kept it for its pulse measurement function. Her sarcastic response was "To tell if you're alive?" (Apparently she couldn't imagine any other purpose on a sports watch.)"
