Absolutely amazing private game reserve. The rangers and other staff are very friendly. Accomodation was fantastic. The stay includes game drives and the guides are so knowledgeable that each drive was a super experience.

The best lodge I've been to for a family experience, hands down. Great for accommodating large families with young children providing many rooms and large spacious entertainment areas for your typical family activities such as card games, swimming and big lunches.The safari experience was a treat with spotting four of the big five by the second drive and a cheetah kill! Musa, our ranger was extremely knowledgeable and great with the kids.The elephant interaction is a once in a lifetime experience that is truly an educational and intimate experience with elephants.Overall amazing experience and will hopefully be able to get in next year!

We stayed at the lodge with all our family and had the best experiences. Saw so much can’t wait to go back. The food was delicious, and all the staff so helpful and friendly. We loved the elephant experience as well, It’s a must !!!

We visited the place for the elephant interactions and it was worth every penny. The staff were so friendly and Rambo and Rachel are just magnificent! We will definitely be visiting the place again.

The game drives was really beautiful and informative, our guide Michaela was incredible and made the experience very memorable. Definately coming back. The Amarula Coffee by the river was fantastic.

Wow wow wow! This was an amazing experience. In my entire life I have never met such knowledge rangers, and entertaining as well. We saw so much and learned even more. The accommodation was amazing, especially the fact that even through loadshedding those aircons were pumping. Beautiful landscapes and awesome wildlife. We will definitely refer everyone we know! Thanks Michaela, Jordan and Troy!

Took some Russian clients for two nights and couldn't be happier, cozy rooms, good facilities, friendly staff. The Elephant experience is something not to be missed! We got the deal and in part I believe to the great time had at Bayete Zulu Game lodge.

Loved it! Such an incredible experience being able to get up close to such a beautiful creature! This has always been a dream of mine, as elephants are my favourite animal. Here we got to pet, and feed them, and got incredible photo ops with Rambo! Unfortunately, sometimes there's large groups, so your time with the elephants is a bit rushed.

Wonderful weekend at the lodge , awsome game drives with extremely knowledgeable game guides. Learnt so many new interesting aspects of the animal kingdom. The Bird life was incredible.

We did a tour of this reserve specifically to see lions and Julian our guide delivered! To ensure the safety of the animals and discourage poachers, I will not be linking pictures, you will just have to go! Worth every penny!
