Gave him a Jeep to repair in January, and collected it in August still not in running condition. If you want to hear endless stories and excuses, that's the place for you, otherwise avoid at all costs !!!!!!!!!!

Wayne rebuilt my engine to top spec after collecting and delivering to me, he went above and beyond even assisted me after I installed the engine myself with technical information to help me start the engine.

They had my Jeep for four and a half month (engine overheated) and when I got it back it was not complete. The skid control light, engine management light, trottlecontrole light did not react as it's supposed to do. The water bottle for radiator was missing as well as the skid plate under the engine and trailer adapter. Speed control didn't kicked in, kick down on gears not working, water system not bleeded and still overheat, radiator fan not working. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND RECON ENGINES, CHAMDOR(Wayne Meintjies) to any body.Show defects/problems as I have mentioned.
