I would've given 5 stars if it was just for the service. The service was excellent. Friendly staff.Food was HORRIBLE. Chips and fish fried in old oil and you can taste the old oil. It was so bad I wanted to vomit. Could only eat a small bit of the food we ordered. The calamari was so oily and mushy. And the food itself is old. Not fresh from the sea.The only thing that was nice was the prawns. Pity there was only 3. It's the only thing I could eat.

Honestly the best fish and chips I've ever had. I've eaten the hake and calamari combo, it was incredible. I also strongly recommend the ribs combo and their Russian and chips is to die for... if you are looking for fresh food, service with a smile, this is a great place to visit... well done.

The best fish, grilled or fried, along with the side dishes, extras and salads.Once you tasted their meals you will not go elsewhere. Great staff too!

Me and my wife had the fish and chips. Bit of a disappointment because we like to support them,but this time our chips was under cooked,the fish was perfectly cooked on the inside but the batter wasn't crispy but very chewy so it was a bit of a disappointment.

My son moved here a year ago , and I must admit , coming from Durban , this is the best quality and taste of pukke " fish and chips we have had . It is s treat to drive up here and settle on some wholesome proper fiish and chips . Thank you for the quality and quantity .Great Stuff ."

The service we got today 7/09/22 was shocking. So disappointed as we love mac's. Mark you need to do something about the ladies and service to customers. Sorry but won't go back in a hurry.......The food is delicious, not one complaint there.

The fried hake is ok. But the grilled hake is awful. When they offer you a sauce they don't yell you that they will cover your fish with the sauce turning it into a soggy mess. They should offer it as a side . The chips is not great either .
