(April 2023) This was my first time to stay in this kind of resort. Everything there - big stuffed lion at the reception, sweet fragrance of flowers, single-story guest rooms - reminded me that I was not in another indistinguishable hotel. The room furnishing was old-fashioned and part of the bathroom needed mending. However, I was fascinated by the floor-to-ceiling glass window through which I could see the morning dawn.We had a fantastic dinner at Bushwillow - I believe it belongs to the resort - which was a few kilometers away. Watching lions there and impalas on our way to there and back was as great as the dinner itself.The resort offers wonderful breakfast with a variety of foods and various entertainment options at affordable rates. My experience there was just unforgettable.

Great place to stay just outside Polokwane. Great food in Basils Restaurant and very comfortable rooms, which are large. Internet is not the fastest but mobile signal is good. The breakfast is also very good.

What a diverse place, we only stayed 1 night bescouse it was close to a wedding we attended, but goodness i will go back purely to inhale this place and all of its aspects, farm animals, heated pools, many function venues, magnificent animals, horse riding club, amazing restaurants, beautiful open lawns.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Great service. Lots of activities to do and friendly staff. Great food. I'm definitely going back.The only problem I experienced is that the geyser capacity is small so you have to bath 4 a short period of time

The resort itself is great and the accommodation is comfortable and facilities decent enough for the 4-star rating.Service was disappointing from reception where their service wasn't great, the attitude was like they didn't want to help but were forced to.The housekeeping staff, they come early when still waking up, they asked what time they should come back, and go out to the pools and when return (3 hours after they are supposed to clean) they still didn't clean the room. Have to phone housekeeping to get them to come clean, they clean the bedrooms and bathrooms but not even properly, tea, coffee, toiletries and towels are not restocked. Not sure when last they vacuum the carpets. They didn't even go to the kitchen, had to call them back to do that. The couch in the lounge is supposedly a sleeper couch, but after you lift those cushions and see all the stuff accumulated there you'll think twice about sleeping there.On check out called for late check-out, and they tell me 11 am (which is normal check out) when I tell the lady that, she says she is going to call me back, I'm still waiting.Check out process was like they couldn't care less and they were just there because they had to be.The spa is off site, they don't answer their phones, try their website booking enquiry, they call back about 18 hours later so pretty useless as well.The ground staff and golf clubhouse staff are quite friendly and helpful.They have braai areas at the self-catering rooms but don't sell charcoal or anything on site.For the prices you pay here and get this level of service it is really not worth it at all.

Before I got to the ranch, I made a reservation for a game drive. My family of five were instructed to board a game viewer by the game driver, which was already occupied by 8 people. Only 12 persons could fit in the game viewer. When we saw another family waiting behind us, we asked for another game viewer. The game driver informed the reception that we wanted to be seated in one row. Which is ridiculous. We waited for another half-hour. The receptionist informed us that the other driver was too far and that we would have to wait. Then, we asked for a refund. Collen treated us in a very disrespectful manner. He gave me the impression that my complaint wasn't significant enough to warrant concern. He demonstrated a significant deal of animosity towards us, which prevented him from providing the service for which we had paid. He was to blame for everything since he kept permitting more individuals to go on the game drive. After a great ordeal we finally got our money back. This was the worst experience of my life.

Great hotel just on the outskirts of the city centre, lots of activities for both adults and children, wifi is great, good breakfast and food. They also have excellent conferencing facilities for both big and small events...one of the best in Limpopo, definitely recommend

The resort is located just outside of Polokwane city which makes it very easy to go back into the city if you've forgotten any essentials. Resort itself is well maintained with facilities that support its 4 star rating. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. The following are examples of the poor service experienced during our 2 night stay:1. The shower drain was badly blocked2. Housekeeping failed to come and clean the unit after the first night.3. When we called reception to request that housekeeping come, they ignored the kitchen of the self catering unit in its entirety.4. The units are not thoroughly cleaned as evidenced by the abundance of flies, cockroaches and spider webs in the unit immediately after housekeeping was finished with their task.5. The towels we requested be replaced were not replaced (just hand towels).6. We were not given a refill of the complimentary water, tea, coffee, etc.7. When we called to request a late check out, reception were supposed to call us back to advise but they never did.
