Such a lovely place and met some truly wonderful people. Best stay on our trip by far!

Three girlfriends spent a few days on the farm and all I wanted to do was stay longer… never leave. It is so peaceful, relaxing and energising at the time. Situated within beautiful mountains, the stunning property is spacious and private. Belinda is a treasure..you cannot wish for a better hostess.

Belinda's hospitality is exceptional. She has paid attention to the detail of making her guests welcome and comfortable at Aloe Valley Retreat. Our cottage was tastefully and functionally appointed. The natural beauty of the garden set against a backdrop of mountains was well worth us travelling a little off our direct route. Sbpring water supplied to the cottages is an added bonus, it comes directly off the mountain.

We had to book last minute, and Belinda our host was so accommodating and helpful when we did. Members of our group were doing the cango marathon and the location is super close to the start of the race which made our lives the morning of the race so much easier.We have stayed at quite a few self catering places in the region and this was by far the best. Each cottage was for 2, but unlike at other places that we have stayed there was more than 2 of all the kitchen utensils. Kitchen was fully equipped with anything we may have needed.Even though we were only staying one night we were allowed to come back to the cottages to have a swim and pack up our things after the race. The area and the cottages were simply beautiful. And we will definitely be back again!

That you had a wonderful stay at Aloe Valley Retreat. Highly recommended for bikers passing through or wanting a base to view the Swartberg mountains. Spectacular scenery of the Swartberg mountains. Close proximity to Gamkaskloof and Prince Albert. I’ll be back to show your spot off to the Australian clan.

We were accommodated at very short notice and absolutely loved the beautiful units and the amazing peace and tranquility of the surroundings. We will definitely return. The units are well equipped with solar lights and gas stoves, so loadshedding is no problem!

A wonderful haven in the Swartberg. So beautiful and peaceful. The host Belinda made us feel at home. What a true pleasure. You cannot ask for a better experience. Rooms were really cozy and comfortable. Loved it
