Its just about money! 800R for a quick visit and the presentation of the next check about a root treatment (before even taking enough time for checking everything). Also no reply when I asked them to send me the xray pictures. No friendliness. No quality.

This doctor is a ripoff. He does not take medical aid and charges you twice the price of other doctors. I would not recommend him at all.

The quoting process leaves allot to be desired - I obtained a quote for four and half hours and landed up with two hours work done nd the quote was discounted by a paltry , which is confusing and not very accurate in my opinion. It took me ages to sort out and they stuck to their guns. But then to make matters worse when they did give me the bill they left off the ICD 10 codes which caused the medial aid to pay me peanuts and i had to have that corrected . The quality of dentistry is good and so is the equipment - its just such a pity that the administration is a nightmare .

I was on holiday in Cape Town recently and lost a front tooth cap right before Christmas eve!! I was unable to eat or smile and was in a panic about how I’d manage the rest of the festive season.I contacted Longbeach Dental Simonstown on the evening of 23 December. Dr Janel Welgemoed kindly offered to fit me in between patients the very next morning. Upon arrival the practice, hygiene protocols were impeccable and the dental staff all in full PPE gear instantly made me feel l was in good hands.Dr Welgemoed repaired my tooth effortlessly and gave me advice as to how to avoid this recurrent problem in future. I am so so grateful for their assistance as I could again enjoy the festivities, eat and smile this Christmas. They really saved the day!Highly recommended.

Had such a great experience with Longbeach Dental. Liezl went above and beyond to arrange for an anesthetic to come out to their practice, as my daughter needed sedation. They kept me informed all the way and Dr du Toit was absolutely amazing with my young daughter. Cannot fault any of the staff, all lovely and friendly.
