Windmill Farm Self Catering Cottages

Pretty good, but a bit rough around the edges for the price (granted, it was December).

Room we stayed in was shocking, and sue to the owners reply I will now add some photos of the shocking condition of the room we stayed in. And please don't patronize us by lying about when we cancelled! It was a few days through lekkeslaap, and they had to fight with you to get the booking postponed. Do you honestly think that being 270 km away would make us drive there and back because we use you as a stay over. That's just plain short sighted and quite frankly, nonsense. We use to promote your business to our friends that travel down there and we have used you previously. Unless you pick up your SHOCKING standards and attitude you can do fly a kite!

Cozy place to stay, good view and helpful staff. Good location, halfway between the amphitheater and sentinel peak.

An amazing setting with the most incredible panoramic views and THE most comfortable beds and showers! The hosts are super friendly and accommodating and the coffee is amazing. We'd definitely come back every time. Plus it's just a quick 3hr drive from jhb!

Great stop over on the way to the coast. We stayed in the 3 sleeper. Made fire in the fire place. Had a lovely dinner delivered to the chalet from the restaurant near the cottages. Beautiful views.... Will definitely return on our next sea trip.

This place used to be a gem but sadly it’s depreciated in upkeep and aesthetic comfort. Owner is sadly not very helpful particularly when power goes out. Apart from the beautiful views there is not much else that would bring me back here.

They definitely undersell the view. Wow. Our one bed really needed replacing but the experience more than made up for it. Farmer who owns the land is also super nice. He saved us when we got stuck and even showed us some beautiful spots to hike to that we would never have found ourselves.
