An old hotel off the beaten track that has recently been taken over by a group of women who are breathing new life into the venue. Clearly a popular spot frequented by locals.

Went to dinner here in January, because we'd heard there was new management and the locals said the pizza was good. They weren't joking. The pizza was really delicious: lots of cheese, crisp base, excellent! The ambience in the bar was fun. And the manager was attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed our dinner!

Stopped for dinner. Staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Juma . He is attentive and on the ball with the orders and drinks. Had beer battered hake and chips that was cooked to perfection. Will definitely come back here for the service and food.

Been here three times during operating hours.The first time the place wasn't even set up for trading even though pub open for a few hours. It was freezing cold and no fire was burning either.2nd time arrived an hour after opening time but no one around to take an order even after waiting for over 10 minutes for someone to appear to help. Just left.3rd time I went i ordered a pizza which was not great as it had just way too much cheese so much so that it made the base soggy and the slices were not precut properly so one found themselves tearing the pizza to get a slice. And as there was so much cheese one could not even taste the other toppings due to an overload of cheese.

The menu was rather limited. There was no rice or other starch available. The chicken wings had an unpleasant smell. The waiter was very extremely pleasant though. The menu is suitable for bar but needs attention for sit-in dining

Such friendly staff, a very warm welcome, beautiful and large room.. I honestly have no words, I can't wait to go back. It's very accessible too

The food was nothing great. Wont eat there again. Waiter didnt know what came in the rosetta basket. For me, the biggest issue was It was really quiet, only 2 tables outside. We were sitting there outside with a 2 and a 3 year old, and the band members come and stand close to our table and smoke. If you want to have a restorant with a playaria for small kids, you should have a non-smoking section close to it.
