Pinpoint Plumbing Leak Location Services

I called Pinpoint Plumbing out to detect a leak in a small bathroom. After a thorough investigation their expert was adament that the leak was on an exact spot on the shower wall. We queried this with him as we had replaced the entire length of pipe on that wall a few months ago. He assured us that this was where the leak was and marked the spot with an X.We called in the plumbers who had replaced that pipe. They chopped the wall open only to reveal a bone dry pipe, no leak in sight. It turned out the leak was under the shower floor nowhere near where Pinpoint had marked their spot.We took this matter up with Pinpoint managemet but sadly they refused to accept any responsibility or come to the table to repair the unneccesary damage done to walls and tiling. They offhandedly fobbed us off, informing us that they do not offer any guarantees of accuracy as stated on their work order form". There is no mention of this on their website and the way it is worded on the work order form does not make any sense.I can now understand why they make you pay up front before they come out.I honestly think their business name is false advertising. Why call yourself PINPOINT if you have no ability to pin point a leak?"

These guys stayed on the site until all problems were sorted, well into the night. I can recommend pinpoint and will contact them again if need be

Professional and friendly service and staff

Good service, but their administration is not up to scratch. I've been waiting for more than three days to receive my report on their investigation at my property. I keep contacting them directly to remind them that I need the it urgently to which they respond with empty promises.
