Teresa's Driving School
Teresa's driving school's name is very misleading, I book and paid in good faith 10 lessons for my daughter at this 'school'. Her lessons was book in 2 hour sessions. Her 1st session of driving consisted of - the instructed explaining the contract in detail and her driving around a block twice. Her 2nd session was the same, parked car, oral explanations only driving time was driving around a block in Randhart twice and having 5 min of clutch control lesson on a flat road, I am not a qualified driving instructor but how do you learn clutch on a flat road? Her 3rd session was a oral discussion regarding the yard, driving twice around the block and she was 'taught' to reverse by reversing 3 times. In total she had about 1hr's practical driving in 6 hours.I tried to phone the driving school with no success, I then whattsapped him explaining I am not happy with the service I paid for, my child is getting NO driving experience, I paid for driving lessons not oral lessons. The 'Driving' school then confronted my 18 year old daughter on Whattsapp and never answered my messages. He was very clear that no money will be refunded if she does not make use of her 2 remaining sessions as per his contract that he explained in detail in her first session that I paid for. Not once did he apologize or showed any concern that I am complaining about service rendered his main concern was money.Driving classes is relatively expensive, to pay R225-00 per hour (R450-00) per 2 hour session and only receive +/- 20 minutes actual driving is not what I paid for. I did not pay for oral instruction nor chit chat, I paid for practical experience and instruction, I did not receive the service I paid for, I will not be using the remaining 2 sessions that I have paid for as it is a waste of time and how dare a old man confront a 18 year old instead of talking to the parent that is paying and has the complaint regarding his services.DAY LATERI just spoke to the 'Driving' School he told my husband he our daughter drove for 58km in her last session, I asked him to please take me on the route he took her, I would like to measure the distance. He told me he does not have to listen or speak to me and started whistling in my ear and dropped the phone. VERY PROFESSIONAL!!
