Spent six years at Uj, Dova became my home away from home and a place of incredible growth. The lecturers go above and beyond to make sure the time you spend there is not only fun but engaging too. The course is structured to push one to the limits and focuses on developing an artist or historian that is in touch with the real world. Got to work with some amazing practicing artists while I was there and learnt amazing profesional practice skills.

The institution offers a secure space to grow in your practice. The coursework is challenging which allows for mindful engagement. The staff are understanding and offer critical insight. My academic journey from first year to masters was extremely fruitful. The staff each provided a unique perspective that molded my practice

Modern, state of the art facility with excellent educational programs. Staff and students are extremely friendly and very welcoming. This is a highly recommended department to embark on your studies and to grow your career in the creative industries. I was a student here for six years and can with all honesty say that it was a life changing experience.

The best Fine Art department in the county! Boasting world class lecturers, professors and PhDs who’s mentorship is unparalleled. With secure, spacious, and well equipped studio facilities, it’s an absolute privilege to attend DoVA UJ. It changed my life and I would recommend it to anyone interested in studying art.
