Very peaceful place. The lady who served us was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a generous platter with various types of cheese, fruit, nuts, etc.They sell their own cheese which you can taste as part the platter they serve you at a reasonable price. They also sell other home made marmalades and crafts.Overall it was a great experience to be there. My wife and I relaxed and enjoyed the romantic time we had there.

This was such a great experience during our trip to the northern Berg! YOU MUST VISIT THIS PLACE. The host, Lisle, made us feel so at home and relaxed. The place is nestled in her family’s farm (passed down through 3 generations) with an incredible view of Cathedral Peak. We were quickly seated and given a glass of rosé to enjoy while we waited for our cheese platter. The concept is “Slow Foods” which we preferred given that there were so many birds to enjoy watching while waiting. The cheese platter itself was a work of art... a beautiful array of colors from the different fruits and multiple textures from her homemade cheeses. Once we were done with our platter, we had a long and warming conversation with Lisle learning more about the farm’s and her family’s history. This was overall a beautiful experience to have had and I feel quite lucky to have gone. I will definitely be back!

Birthday breakfast at Tevreden cheese farm, a beautiful tranquil farm in Bergville that welcomes you to an oldschool rustic atmosphere and true country style hospitality. The carefully hand crafted premium cheese was beautifully served together with gourmet treats to accentuate the flavor of the cheese, this was truly a special treat.

It was such a beautiful experience going to Tevreden Cheese Farm. The bumpy, rainy, slippery slide drive was worth it. Lisel the owner is such a warm, lovely host. We chatted for hours, forgetting about the time as she made us feel so at home and welcomed. She prepared an awesome and tasteful platter for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. If you're in the Berg, this is a must to visit!

We had an amazing time at Tevreden cheese farm. The hospitality was fantastic and the food is really good. I would highly recommend the French cheese. The decor and layout of the restaurant is perfect and provides a great view of the surrounding mountains.

Wonderful experience! The hosts are friendly and welcoming and the cheese platter was delicious. The road ( like alot of SA roads) has potholes, but the drive through the informal houses are safe and we even had someone passing by opening the gate for us as we left. We definitely recommend this place for an outing! X

It's a piece of heaven, hidden in what seems to be the middle of nowhere. It's beautiful and calm. The cheese spread I had was a taste adventure for the tongue. Every taste bud was tickled and I couldn't help but smile with each bite! It felt like a home away from home and we, as guest were treated well and we were made to feel like we were special. I left there completely satisfied and would definitely make a turn there on my next holiday trip!

Hostess was excellent. Platter that was served for our group was excellent and delicious...very highly recommend a visit...advise to phone ahead thou and advise of booking and prep for platters
