The Braai Room - Lonehill
Beautiful place. Love the view. Staff was phenomenal. Our food was ok but really expected a bit more to be honest. I didn't expect Simba chips when the food was to be served with chips and there was no loadshedding at the time. Pina Colada cocktail and iced coffee wasn't great here (sorry guys). Place has a lot of potential though. Maybe my next visit will be better. I'll definitely go back and recommend

Ordered the 350g ribeye steak, was lovely and tender and cooked perfectly, only problem was that it lacked flavour. About no salt and pepper for flavour. The waiter suggested a sauce.

Great place to chill. Will do a more in depth review later. It is ideal to sit outside next to the water and viewing the koppie in a distance. There is a gate leading from the Braai room to the park. Ideal if you want to eat and drink something at the Braai room and then take a walk in the park. Or vice versa.The braai room is ideal for kiddies parties where the dads can join as well. The prices are very reasonable for a specialized braai place, with paptert and other side dishes to compliment a real braai meal. Take a walk around the dam area. Pity the Bridge is not in use for a long time and need repair. The a stroll to the koppie seeing from a distance. Uncover free parking at the entrance of shopping area just at the entrance of Braai room. Be patient for your food as it take as bit of time to serve. Bit disappointed about the size of the portion of ribs the last time. Only 4 piece ( when it is cut). So that was not a good portion. And I am not talking about the 250 g kiddies portion. Ah and don't forget the pizza oven. Nice addition.

Absolutely amazing customer service from Andile and the manager Tammy. Great place to work remotely and really great variety and great vegetarian options as well even though it is a place that mainly does meat. Stunning view

Lovely spot for Sunday chill. Highly recommend for families with kids. There’s a play area for the kidsWent there with friends for a shisanyama(braai meat) experience. The meat was delicious and we didn’t wait too long for it. The pap perfectly done. YummAmbience and view also added to the experience. Overlooking the lake and park I Lonehill. I would come back againOnly thing that kinda didn’t go well was that there were flies that kept hovering over our food. Eish

Service is not so great here. First visit they gave our food to another table. Waited over an hour for food to arrive. Second visit they got my order wrong. I asked for no garnish on my burger and it arrived with it on. To my surprise the waiter told me to scrape it off. Luckily the manager walked past asking if we ok and after I explained that I wasn't he had a new burger made at the speed of light. Some redemption. Food is good, great vibe and love the lake side seating.

Had been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time, given they had recently done some renovations. I had driven past a few times and it always looked very welcoming. I decided to finally go ahead and try it out; needless to say I was definitely not disappointed. Genuine braai'd meat, good service, great atmosphere and superb view. Really recommend giving this place a visit. Will 100% return again.

Great location for lunch with friends and family. Exceptionally kids friendly restaurant. The food and service was wonderful. Was only supposed to have lunch, we ended up staying for dinner as well.
