Was quite annoyed when I booked a table for 28 people and was told no corkage" which by definition if you google it means you can bring your own wine without paying a fee for it. So I spent R1000 on wine and brought it with to be told by the manager they don't allow corkage. Meaning we are not allowed outside drinks at all. He was a bit rude about it too so now we were R1000 out on an already pricey event we were hosting and ended up with a R4000 wine bill when we had to buy everything at the venue instead. The food came out cold but I figured it was because we had such a large table and I let that slide."

Food 9 / 10 portions look big but mostly chips,Service 6 / 10 service very slow even with minimal patrons, expect about 30 to 50 Minutes wait between courses.

Went for a quick breakfast at 09:30 placed food order at 09:45 we ended up getting our food at 11:00. Worst service I have received in a long time. Food over price I hade the breakfast burger on the menu the patty size is 150g but what you receive is a 80g if your lucky. That was the last time Bon Amis will see me.

This place is really gone backward compared to how it was years ago. Way overpriced food, dated dinning area not to mention toilets that need deep cleaning and an update to the amenities. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere really.

We visited for breakfast on Friday 16 June, it was ice cold. The food and service could not be faulted but the very spacious restaurant definitely needed some warmth, the heat from the fireplace did not reach far. Maybe also cushions ..... even if only in winter months.

We were a table of 4 plus a busy toddler... Food was great - something for everyone - service was a bit bumpy but okayyyyy... They should get some more waiters in on busy days... But we always go back there...
