Satara Rest Camp
We camped. Satara area is great. The water boilers were not working in 2 kitchen's and one had blocked drains. The ablution was clean and nicely maintained. Cattle Baron Restuarant was disappointing, half the meal was dried out like it stood in the warmer too long. Chips were very starchy, not restuarant standard. Based on what was recieved, the meal was expensive.

Good clean camp. The honorary rangers were there everyday to clean the camp. Cutting trees and raking all the leaves. Awesome stay,

Frankel house is top notch! Freezers fridges and all appliances you need. Comfortable rooms and nice braai area. Really enjoyed our stay

Satara Rest Camp
Camped here for 1 night on our 4-day trip to the KNP. Ablution facilities are well maintained and very clean. Great to see that people clean up behind themselves. Quiet at night...can hear the Lions and Jackals in the distance.

Satara Rest Camp
We stayed in a lovely bungalow for a night and camped for 4 days. Excellent camp, large sites, facilities clean and well serviced. Restaurant and verandah are great fun, butcher was an enormous asset!!!

Car troubles had us not leave the park in time and so we had to sleep over at the camp.Staff, rangers and all were wonderful and very helpful regarding our situation.The room itself was clean, the beds comfy .We plan on returning. Waking up in Kruger was quite something.

Lovely Rest Camp. We didn't stay overnight but did enjoyed a bite at the restaurant. The food was good and our server was friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing as well. A definate stop if you plan on going past.

Visited during a self-drive and was the best camp among the others I visited in terms of structure (best souvenir shop by far and best food even though not spectacular). It was also the busiest camp, which must mean something.

Good lodge in the middle of the Kruger park. There is no wifi in the rooms and they don’t have international plugs. Besides that it’s very cozy and have good food for breakfast and dinner. They organize sunset drives too.

We spent a week camping.The facilities in the main are good,we were pleased they had a washing machine.We would recommend putting more electricity points in the camping area as we had a problem finding a power outlet.Glad they had a generatorThe shop is well stocked and the Cattle Baron is so much better than the restaurants in the other camps.
