Most incompetent service provider, never use them for any repairs to your differential/gearbox or drive axles. They also do not have any intention, to honour any guarantees provided for repairs or overhauls.

Poor service unprofessional

Bad service, they don't provide quotes and estimations, when clients request. They cost us too high and a rip off. They don't take any calls or answer any messages on time. They can't source parts to my hyundai santa fe. They strip other parts of vehicle without clients consent, they don't comply with the cpa act. My vehicle is still on storage, yet nothing was signed and agreed upon storage since I left my vehicle there from day one. It's been over a year now they have my vehicle and illegally holding my vehicle, yet I don't want them to repair my vehicle, they are too costly, only for Labour.. I would never recommend anyone else to this workshop. Pathetic service. There are so many clients vehicles parked there and not yet fixed. They even gave my gearbox without my consent to another company to try an establish the faults. I only signed a job card the day I left the vehicle there, to diagnose and strip vehicle and fault find. Yet they want to charge me an enormous amount to assemble back parts, yet I paid them R2000 upfront.I don't even know if my vehicle is still at their premises in one piece. Yet I'm still paying my insurance on the vehicle,Akash-Please don't give false statements.,you did your best to assist me, it's obvious oumbudmsman was in your favour, because you told alot of untrue statements and faked emails to me stating you send me quotes and estimations.This review is set out to prove you and your company are unprofessional in what you do, and clients should not even think about using your services. Remember God is great and he knows the truth and you can try to cover your tracks and defend yourself and show your innocence in this matter, know for sure what you do unto others will find its way back to you.Remember you still have my vehicle in your workshop illegally without any written consent to keep it longer.How do you sleep at night knowing you have put me through so much without me getting my vehicle released to me, yet you didn't repair it.You have ripped me off and is now putting me through unnecessary legal costs.Please stop what you doing and stop messing arround with innocent peoples possessions.

Many thanks to Akash and his staff.I had a problem with my diff lock and went to see Akash for advice. Akash did a quick check and discovered a minor problem and rectified it immediately. I would like to thank Akash for his honesty and integrity. I can cofidently highly recommend this establishment.

I took my Mitsubishi Pajero over to Gearmax in Umgeni road. Akash and team sorted out my rebuild a few days. Lovely experience for anyone looking for quality gearbox specialist

Charged me twice as much as the 2nd best quote I got from other repairers. Took ages to return my calls. Not recommended.
