What a wonderfully homely restaurant. The staff is super friendly also. I had chicken wings as a starter and it rates as some of the best I’ve EVER had. The lamb curry was a bit under seasoned but the great tasting karoo lamb made up for it. The malva pudding for desert was great and moist.I’d visit Colesberg again just for this restaurant.

Very good food; even better than what we expected! They also had more unique side dish options than most other restaurants. They use a real pizza oven. They have very good coffee (we are a family of coffee lovers). Very neat and nice atmostphere. Would definitely visit again when in Colesburg!

Superb meal and evening out during our overnight stay in the quaint village of Colesburg. The food was delicious and great value… We had the fillet steak which was perfectly done served with yummy veg and crispy fries. The lamb shank was fall off the bone tasty. Wine was extremely well priced and the service from Micaela our friendly waitress was great.

The sirloin springbok steak and the springbok pizza were very good and out of this world. We visited the evening with our small dog in a bag (because we were traveling some distances and she accompanied us) and had to sit outside on the stoep - which was absolutely appreciated and fine - maybe a candle light for the clients outside as well for some atmosphere - will be a good touch and remember to check up on us outside as well.

Absolutely beautiful! The accommodation is immaculate, cosy;- the place itself is so tastefully decorated. The host himself is a warm and friendly person. Worth every cent!!!

We stopped here while passing through the town after it was recommended to us by a local. Having no expectations we were pleasantly surprised to find a very neat and well presented place. Inside it is very elegant and outside is very cozy with a nice atmosphere. The food was amazing and they are not shy on the portions for what you pay. I would definitely recommend.

Wow...Little place in heaven.Great place to overnight and have a traditional home style lamb chops served with mixed veg on a bed of rice.Bedrooms was very nice and neat with a modern take on that tradition cottage look.Amazing art catches your eyes all over the cottage and restaurant.Friendly and accommodating staff.Well done guys.
