Willow Creek Olive Estate

LOVING MY ONLINE ORDERI love Willow Creek products, so recently I ordered a 3 litre tin/canister and 2kg of olives via their online store. My order arrived promptly with some testers of their other divine products and a recipe card with a handwritten thank you note. Their products are excellent, and buying in bulk is cheaper than buying in-store, so will definitely order online from them again. My thanks to Willow Creek Olive Estate for the awesome quality products and great service!

Stumbled upon Willow Creek by accident! After having lunch in Nuy and seeing their sign wd decided to have a quick pop in. What a delightful Olive Estate. We did a very quick Olive oil tasting in the shop ... and coming from somebody who doesn't like Olive oil ... I was convinced to taste the flavoured oils and I am now converted! The blood orange, coriander were my favourites! We left with gifts for friends back home including a truffle flavoured Olive oil only to see when i got home to gift wrap it, that it had less than a month before it expired! I emailed Willow Creek, and to their credit they apologized and sent a replacement bottle within a week. The only product I'm not completely convinced by is the pepperdews stuffed with macadamia nuts ... but that may just be a personal preference. A worthwhile stop although the prices are the same as we pay at Woolworths so not if you are looking to save anything. It has got me wondering where the products that are nearing their best Before dates go. Maybe there is a market for reduced prices on these items?

Terrible service today....the young lady that was supposed to give us a tasting was disinterested and aloof. She clearly has no interest in her job and when I told her that an oil did not taste fresh she put the bottle back and gave me a dirty look. When I pointed out that the oil bb date was August 2023 ....no apology or checking. We left without purchasing.....surely you should have your freshest product for tasting. Disappointed

Exceptionally good service.I have battled to get Willow Creek olive oil infused with garlic for at least 6 months. In desperation I went looking at Willow Creek. Super gift packs of garlic-infused AND basil-infused olive oil. And there's even one with a truffle infusion.I have always bought Willow Creek products and I ordered directly from them yesterday. I received my delivery this morning.Outstanding! Thank you.

This is little Italy just a little over an hour outside Cape Town. You can taste some interesting flavoured olive oils or try some olives. They also have Southern Italian sweets, drinks, pasta and gifts to buy. I would most definitely stop here if you are in the area.

Amazing olive oils the farm is not that big but well looked after. This is a must visit when you are in the area. It is always a good thing to support the farm themselves. Ps the tasting was free and the lady was well knowledgeable.

After purchasing Willow Creek Olive Oil for over two decades, I was eagerly looking forward to taking my family and friends to an unforgettable tasting experience at the farm. The obscurity began almost immidiatley upon entering the tasting room - met by the most annoying 'chemist ding-dong chime' which was unrelenting with each passing person ! Behind the counter, was a somewhat unknowledgable young lady who told us nothing of the brand, background/history or information one would usually associate with a 'first time experience' at such a farm. Upon requesting a tasting, we were met with 1 miniture bowl and a single imitation silver plastic spoon (there were ten of us!) When asked what we were supposed to all do with one spoon and a miniture bowl, her reply was that 'we could all taste from the same helping - but dont let the spoon touch eachothers lips' (?!) - to both my astonishment and infuriation, I immidiatley stated that this was not appropriate! I asked for a small (spoonful) helping for each person and a seperate spoon for each - this was equally met with the confusion on the young ladies face. With seemingly mixed understanding, she proceeded to place a miniture bowl infront of each different olive oil albeit still with each of us having to share the plastic imitation silver spoons and miniture bowls ! Surcoming to the now obviously confused young ladies understanding of basic tasting ettiquette, we continued to try out the already bizaar experience. To say this was simply impractical and ridiculous is an understatement. Our guests, trying to master the art of using 'shared silver imitation plastic spoons' amongst them - albeit while trying not to get their kissers to the fringe of their spoons - were embarrisingly spilling drops of oil on their fine attire! This whole experience was truly a major let down, especially so as an avid supporter of your brand.I urge you you to go to Morgenster and learn how to conduct a proper olive oil tasting, one that includes proper shared information and tasting utensils -without all the unneccessary annoyance in between!(Morgenster gets a 5star rating everytime!)

The tasting room is an absolute treat! The picturesque view of the olive farm creates the perfect setting to enjoy fresh, award-winning extra virgin olive oils and olives. Not only can you taste the quality, you will also be duly educated on the entire process, from farm to table. After tasting your favourite products, you can buy it at great prices!

Very unprofessional and unpersonal.We entered the tasting room and was treated as if we where not even there while another couple sat down and enjoyed their tasting. We walked out and sat outside for 10 minuntes and not even after the couple left we got any hospitality or sense of urgency to assist. We left with very unpleasant feelingtowards Willow Creek as a brand.We won't be returning and surely will not reccomend visiting.

Willow Creek products are excellent and we are solid fans - so much so, that a visit to their shop in Worcester was in our plan. Whilst the products were there, the very worst sales person “assisted” us - rude, unhelpful and disinterested! We could’ve/would’ve bought much more. Such a pity!
