Very nicely made. Not too oily. Their use of ingredients is a little different to other places but it makes it good if you want to try something else. I really enjoy their chow mein as well as their sweet n sour dumplings. The only complaint is the way they package it makes it a little difficult to open saucy things without messing, but it also prevents stuff from messing on the way home.

Not impressed! found a small piece of steel wool in my food. Rice was rather dry and tasted abnormal. I seriously question the QC and cleanliness of the kitchen at Bamboo snacks. I have heard from a staff member that he/she wouldnt buy food there themselves. Such a shame for a place that's existed for so long, somewhere they have gone downhill.

Bought 2 tv trays one with chow mein and one with fried rice and additionally bought a regular sweet and sour pork. A meal for 2 adults for R201. The food was delicous and very filling. You can get a lot less food for a lot more money at other chinese take aways!

Oh my MSG! this is where my husband buys me takeout when he royally p*ssed me off. That sweet and sour chicken makes me forget I was ever mad (what? No, Baby, you good, pass the chowmein, I love you and this sauce more than life itself). So yeah. Phone ahead, pick up and go get your wife.

The best Chinese food in PE and the sweet and sour pork/chicken is unmatched. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I recommend bamboo snacks to everybody!
