Casper Willemse is a talented photographer, however, he provided us with disappointing service as our wedding photographer. We purchased a package from him which included an engagement shoot, wedding shoot and a short video on our wedding day. We booked Casper more than a year in advance.Casper was difficult to contact. He often took a long time to reply to emails and messages. He tried to move our engagement shoot the night before because he had another wedding to attend (this was after we booked accommodation for him, as well as paid for hair and make-up). Furthermore, he took months to give us our engagement photos and lost them (thank goodness he found them again - but it was upsetting).Casper was also not able meet with us prior to our wedding, nor did he have the time to scout the wedding venue. He did not request the kind of photos we wanted on our wedding day nor did he know what the wedding venue looked like. I was incredibly understanding of his busy schedule as he was juggling his articles and photography business, but it was not fair on us.Furthermore, Casper cancelled the videographer two weeks before the wedding. He relayed that the videographer did not realise the wedding was on a Friday and cannot make it (note that Casper knew this a year in advance). Luckily, we had organized another videographer beforehand. Casper and I agreed that he would make canvas and an album for us in place of the video. He noted that he does not have the cash to refund us. We agreed with the album and video dispite the fact that it not of the same value.Casper took a couple of months to give us our wedding photos. There were some beautiful photos, however, we were not completely satisfied as some photos had individuals with their eyes closed etc.It has been 9 months since our wedding. We have not received the promised album and canvas. Casper has ignored all my messages and removed me from all his social media platforms.We are most disappointed. Our wedding day is a special day, and Casper did not treat it that way. Casper has poor business acumen and I would not recommend his services to anyone.
