Over the past 4 years due to EPS mismanagement I lost thousands on having to do repairs on house they were renting out for me. They did not collect full deposit from person renting, no inspections done. Just left it all in my hands. No value added having them manage my property. Did more harm. Beware!Added details to your response:1st tenant moved in and when they moved out no inspection was done. How do I know this? because after the 2nd tenant moved out I was in East London and decided to go have a look at the property and to my discuss the property was badly damaged, my portable oven in the flatlet gone. I was advised by the current tenant that this is how they moved into the property. I had to spend R40 000 repairing and repainting the house inside. So only after 2nd tenant staying there and me personally going to check up noted all the issues. Then I was advised the tenants deposit was already paid to them. The grass was left knee height, pool was a mess etc. The agent dealing with the property said she will pay for some of the issues but can pay it monthly. I only received R500 from her. She advised that the grass will be cut and only after some time it was cut by herself? (this approach also does not seem in the best interest of its customers from a business with a large property portfolio?) My issue with this was that potential new customers was shown the house in this bad state.The last tenant that EPS managed to December 2022 did not even pay the full deposit as per lease agreement and he was allowed to move in. The last year with this tenant he was not paying as he should and still has outstanding balance. I took over from EPS from December 2022 to March with the tenant because no value added by EPS and every month if and when the tenant paid the commission will be taken. This discission was also due to the last inspection that was done on my request once again as with the 1 or 2 others you mention. Again the house had basic maintenance issues. The newly painted walls full of holes. Damages all over the place. The pool was green and as per tenant he reported it few months back. This was never brought to my attention. So again I'm needing to spend a few thousand on getting the property to the state it should be.I was unable to take the 1 call earlier due to being busy at the time. I have also mailed some of the above issues to management" with no solution or change. Not sure what else to discuss?My expectation from EPS while using your service:1. Do not allow someone to move into house if full deposit was not paid. "was credit vetting done with customer?''2. Do inspections every 6 months and advise on any repair work or maintenance to be done. If it was the tenant at fault ensure he does them before the damages increases.3. Surely there must be something more one can do if tenant does not pay other than responding the tenant was sent a mail and WhatsApp. Every time I asked to evict the tenant I was asked to give him another change and then payment arrangements was made. Suppose this was my mistake to allow it to carry on.4. If a tenant moves out then ensure the property is left as received and then only pay deposit back.Can send me private mail if you require any more info."

Called Shaun Reed's cell number expecting to speak to him but the call was answered by a lady. I do things morally correctly to the highest possible standard and I said to her that I do not want to talk to her as she is the third party. I said again that I would like to talk directly to Shaun. She was then rude which is unprofessional, tried to push me to get what she wanted and then hung up. It was my money I spent to call her and she ended the call as she did not get what she wanted. This is unacceptable so as a result your company will not get my business.
