I have been there a few times and I am always greeted by friendly people and they alway help you with a smile on their faces. They do a fantastic job and its always clean and neat. Well done AWSS!!

I took a dog that was run over by a vehicle to AWS Stellenbosch. Unfortunately, the dog succumbed to his wounds by the time I arrived at AWS, but they treated both myself and the doggie with dignity and empathy. Absolutely an organisation that is worth our support and donations.

Took our adorable pug to be sterilized. The vet did a great job. Our furry friend is back to her old self again. Thank you animal welfare society stellenbosch for what you do for all our pet friends. God bless you.

Great service and so many cute animals to pick from. We adopted a cat from then 2 weeks ago. The process was very easy and help and guidance was offered with needed. We dealt with Elizma from the cattery unit. Thank you we love our little kitten.

Started coming here since June of 2022, however ever since we've come to volunteer and walk the dogs, we get turned down and told it's too hot even if the weather is cool, or like we were told recently, that there are only 4 dog kennels and can't be walked. It's always the same lady that turns us down, when we came here last year there was never a problem with anything. I remember being told the puppies can be played with if they're vaccinated, but when we asked the same lady she told us we cannot play with them. I see videos being shared by them on Instagram of people touching and playing with *unvaccinated* puppies and it bothers me, as they didn't tell them that they cannot do that but tell us we can't play with the *vaccinated* ones. After we were turned down from walking the dogs, we saw people taking some dogs out to walk them. I don't understand this and it's making me think I shouldn't come here, ever since the cattery was temporarily closed we couldn't do anything other than walk around and look. Personally, I feel this lady has some kind of intentions" when turning us down

Such a lovely place with staff and volunteers who are clearly dedicated and passionate about serving the animals in their care. We adopted our kitten, Shakespeare, there and had a wonderful experience in the adoption process. Head over there to walk one of the happy doggies here or cuddle with the kitties. You may find your newest furry family member!!

Those animals are in need of a lot more love and support! There are so many special boys and girls that are so loving and in need of a home. Brilliant place to take a partner for a date! I personally recommend visiting the Cattery first!
