Driving Safely With Janet

If I could I would rate this place a zero and not skip a beat to do so!! I booked a package deal late last year, had 2 lessons then the excuses started from (car issues, contemplating life decisions, moving house, poor time management etc.) all made by Damian the instructor who might I add is unapologetic for his behavior!! On other occasions, he just didn’t bother to make contact even when he was sent a message enquiring about lessons. Frustrating to say the least!! It’s now end of February (3 months later) and there’s still a few lessons pending…I won’t hold my breathe though as this type of flaky behavior begs the question of how does one run a business so poorly!! I have since contacted another driving school and it’s such a relief to deal with professionals!!

If I could give this school a 0 star I would. Janet wasted a lot of my time over a period of 3 weeks. We booked lessons for weekends because I work during the week and she would either cancel every lesson after having booked the following week in advance or when she would actually have it, she would shorten it and only give me 1 hour.She was 30 minutes late for my first lesson which was meant to be 2 hours long. When she finally arrived she cut the lesson to 1 hour saying she cannot do more even though we had booked it in advance. The next day was Sunday and she cancelled the lesson completely due to bad weather. The following week she cancelled Saturday and Sunday lessons because she had the “flu” despite her being fine. The next weekend she halved the one lesson on Saturday from 2 hours to 1 hour and the Sunday she cancelled last minute because it was raining badly despite the sun being out with minimal clouds. When I told her it wasn’t raining, we had an argument back and forth and she swore at both me and my mother that we must “f off”.Do not! I repeat do not go with this driving school. I had read multiple bad reviews that she cancelled multiple lessons after getting paid for many students but decided to give her a try and I’ve lived to regret this decision. Do not pay her upfront either because she now owes me thousands of Rands and hours of lessons that I need to now fight for a refund for. If you run a business and offer a service, you should do so properly but the excuses were a joke

Brilliant company, they helped me pass my drivers and had extreme amounts of patience while doing it. I would highly recommend.
