It was a last minute decision to travel to JHB and a very last one to arrange accommodation.Gary and Lynne are fantastic hosts!I only stayed for one night and wish it was longer.The unit was spotless and big enough for my family even though I was traveling alone.They provided a “help yourself” breakfast which consisted of toast, eggs, coffee, three different types of cereals, fruit and juice.I will definitely stay here again and hopefully next time with my family.

An absolute 5 Star experience. The Staff & hosts were so friendly, the rooms were clean & neat, a peaceful & stunning garden area to unwind in. We were informed of load shedding times & every attempt was made to make us comfortable during load shedding. Thank you Gary & Lynne Franks. Highly recommended guest house.

Absolutely amazing hosts.Gary and Lynne were Very friendly and welcoming. The process of planning my partners birthday celebration was very smooth because of their participation. Allowed for an arrangement of a nice picnic setup in the room and it looked amazing. Lynne and Gary went overboard and even created a birthday card for my partner, it's so beautiful and it means a lot to us. Thank you so much for the amazing experience, it's very sentimental to us.I couldn't have chosen a better place, it was amazing. Rooms are very spacious and clean. They have applied the concept of 'smart living' so well and that makes everything so convinient. Also Really liked the breakfast arrangement. The garden? Absolutely beautiful and refreshing.

I'd like to express my gratitude to Lynne. She treated me like family, staying up late to welcome me and waking up early to ensure my departure went smoothly.She drove me to Cresta Mall to get my sim card, explained everything thoroughly, and was always willing to assist.The housekeeper also performed admirably. I honestly want to return.

We had a really comfortable and relaxed stay and we were well taken care of by Lynne and the staff. Such a friendly and caring environment and having access to the pool and garden was just perfect. This will be top of our list for future stays

We had a fantastic one night stay at 49 on Cherry Guesthouse. The rooms were excellent: spacious, with good facilities, and a very generous breakfast provided. Gary and Lynne had thought of everything and we felt very much at home. They were very helpful both before and during our stay. We will certainly stay again.

Gary and Lynne were able to provide me with accommodation at short notice for my quick trip to South Africa. Lynne made me feel so at home during my short stay. Such a pleasure to make new friends like this who make you feel like family.

What a serene environment! The Lynne is so caring to say the least. Been using this place for the past 12 months. With loadshedding problems in South Africa but Lynne ensured that there's always lights, Hot water and TV. Had a pleasant stay altogether

Lynne, the owner kindly and quickly accommodated the three of us after a horrible fail at another bed and breakfast. Booking and check in was a breeze. The garden, pool and view from the rooms are beautiful. The rooms are well furnished, comfortable, cleaned daily and has all amenities available for load shedding. Our four day stay was more than comfortable - thanks to Lynne and her staff.

We had a delightful stay at 49 on Cherry After a disappointing experience at an AirBnb in Parkhurst, Lynn showed us what real hospitality should be! Highly recommended to everyone who reads this review.
