I love thos SPAR. We travel from Saldanha to shop here. We do have a SPAR in Saldanha, but as explained before, that went from my favourite shopping experience to my worst in a matter of a year. It is worth the drive-through to Laaiplek. Besides being well stocked, the staff are super friendly

Hi. I've been shopping at your Spar for years now when passing through the town. We love the shop. Just one question WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CLEANING OF YOUR PUBLIC TOILET? It's a disgrace. I have NEVER been to such unhygienic toilets. And it's OLD dirt. Please get someone to scrub them out with bleach and antiseptic. Today I wanted to use the toilet but walked out it was disgusting. A cleaning lady walked in with a mop but no cleaning material. Nee sies man. Maybe the owner or manager should take a look at the ladies toilets. They need to be scrubbed out with bleach. Behind the doors. In the washbasins. On the walls.

Normally a very good Spar, unfortunately the day I went to specifically buy mushrooms and spring onion there was nothing. Store itself has a lovely layout and overall very pleasant.

Amazing garlic rolls. Not just the braai kind but also a fresh bread roll brushed in melted garlic butter. We love most of the cooked and baked good and get some each time we visit. Staff is also friendly and helpful as we have come to expect for any Spar.

We bought pork knuckle from Laaiplek Spar. On Sunday upon opening the packet the meat was rotten. Took it back and had it exchanged. Upon opening the second packet the meat was rotten. So we got in the car again to take it back. We were offered our money back, no aplology, whatsover. The sad thing is we spend on average R8000 per month at Laaiplek Spar and selling wrotten meat is not on. Disgusted customer from Dwarskersbos.

Shop here! Why? Always clean, efficient and friendly staff. The deli section is always tempting. Food fresh, delicious and well priced. Bakery will make you forget your diet. If you enjoy a traditional braai, do give the butchery a try. Sosaties to die for and their spar sausage is heaven. The fresh fruit and vegetables always best quality. Ample safe parking. Pharmacy, gift shop and liquor store all at this premises.
