Went there with two other adults. Ordered a pizza, Jaco Burger and Hake and chips.Pizza was slightly disappointing and strange (no tomato sauce on the base, very little cheese, random slices of fresh tomato on top, extremely thin sliced avocado). The base itself was alright though. I used the table salt and pepper, as well the chopped chili, garlic and something that I assumed was parmesan cheese to try and get some flavour out of the pizza, which worked to some extent.The other people with me said their food was average. Al Forno's serves some of the best pizza... Place was okay and outdoor seating as well. The waiter was friendly and gave awesome service. Chilled place and good for groups, family and draughts are tops. Great view of the Beach too and the vibe is awesome. Trendy crowd.

An average pizza with a bit too much cheese. The service was sufficient. The plethora of coloured furniture was a bit too much. Loadshedding limited the menu options.

What a disappointing experience. Felt like time slowed down in this restaurant, everything happens at snail pace. Waited 1 hour for our pizzas, expecting them to at least taste amazing when served. Because if somethings taking that long to be prepared, it needs to. Instead, we were served the most bland pizza I've ever tasted. Ingredients had no taste to them, probably ran out of salt in the kitchen. Waiters don't check up on you, drinks take couple minutes to arrive. Overall it doesn't seem like a very efficiently run business. And the restaurant was far from busy. Do not waste your time here.

We enjoyed our dinner at Al Forno's. The service was really lovely and attentive. My wife really enjoyed her pizza and I thought mine was okay, a tad dry. Pizzas are thin based. We sat outdoors while the sun was setting, which was really beautiful. Wine and pizza prices were quite reasonable.

If you find this place using the entertainer like i did, don't bother, they don't honour it. A little difficult to believe they don't take business from entertainer users considering how quite they are. Please remove your self from the app so we don't waste our time coming all that way to eat by you.. Its unfortunate that there is a sewerage leak right in front on this place. Eating outside had you smelling it every time the wind blew in. Female toilet out of order as well. No cocktails being severed. Quite a few of the options we wanted were out of stock. My pizza landed on my table without mushrooms. The pasta portion was rather small. Our waiter was about the best experience we had there.

Great food with lots of options. Also has gluten free but ask before you sit down if you need. They didn’t have stock. Service was amazing and people are very friendly.

Alfornos is is a great location with a sunset view. The service was decent.We were however disappointed in the pizza toppings. The bases were nice and cooked well but the toppings were very sparsely added for the price they are to add. There is only one vegetarian option and it had a very strange combination. They don't offer substitutes on the pizzas and to make your own worked out very expensive.They no longer support the entertainer app which was unfortunate considering it was still a advertised the app
