Super efficient branch of a great franchise. Has the most unique play area I have seen. Waitress was great, food was quick, fresh and delicious.

The Engen and the Wimpy is a disappointment, I also left a negative review on the Engen’s page, so I think it is just right that I share this on the Wimpy’s page as well. We visited the Engen Tugela 1 Stop South on Friday 17 February 2023 at about 12:00. The main reason why we decided to stop there was so that we could use our complementary free breakfast eBucks vouchers from FNB at the Wimpy. I also thought a change of scenery will be good as we always stop at Harrismith on these trips. After we had breakfast for lunch at the Wimpy, the waitress informed us that their scanning machine does not work and thus she can not scan our FNB eBucks vouchers. No attempt was made by the waitress or cashier to resolve the issue and thus we had to pay for the meals. Next time I will not make the same mistake and rather stop at Harrismith.
