What a shame, nice location with a sunny terrace in a secure golf estate. Could be a roaring success with all the residential and holiday units on site but alas... Service and food leave a lot to be desired.

Took forever to sit, on the Friday buffet. No one was there to seat us, so we asked a waiter. She told us to sit at the bar to wait so we did. 30 seconds later a family walks in and gets a instant seat.

Delightful open restaurant area as the title suggests. Most frequently visited during the day with the flow of happy golfers enjoying their game. Quieter at night for those who enjoy a social chat with friends. Parking is secure being within the confines of the Goose Valley Estate and Club House area.

Unfortunately we had a poor experience recently at Goosevalley's Verandah Restaurant.Booked a big table for Christmas lunchService was good but we had a verylong wait for our food. One Hour 50 minutes! The steaks were perfect but our rice was undercooked .Desserts was horrible. Icecream was completely melted and cakes were very dry!Completely overpriced us at R320 per person for all of the above mentioned.

We asked if the place was serving food on New year's day ,yes said the waitress until 9 pm,we got changed and arrived at 7.30pm and was told sorry no food the staff went home early. Not impressed.
