FREEDIVING AFRICA

I enrolled for the Freediving Africa course to develop safety skills and improve my free diving. Matt Stow, the owner/founder ran the course. His service was outstanding beginning with a light touch digital enrolment process coupled with clear communication ahead of the course itself. The content of the course theory was comprehensive, well communicated and the way in which this theory was integrated into practical application in the pool training sessions and ultimately the free dive in the quarry was excellent. Mat's passion for free diving and particularly for teaching people the discipline of free diving as well as his experience of guiding enrolees through the process shone through in all aspects of the course. I got an enormous amount out of it, it was a special experience and I would highly recommend Mat and the Freediving Africa course.

After more than 20 years of freediving, the team from FA have certainly helped me to improve my overall diving abilities, dive safety and confidence in the deep. Thanks boys! The instructors are experienced, practical and plain fun. Money well spent.

Super passionate team who opened up a new world to me with such enthusiasm and professionalism. Matt and Derek know their stuff inside out and present the material in an easy to follow and understand format. Their dedication to safety turns a potentially dangerous sport into something that is accessible to the average water lover out there! You progress at your own pace under very watchful eyes. I can highly recommend this course. You do not need to be a super swimmer or have extraordinary breathhold capabilities to benefit from this training. Always a pleasure to deal with a company that is focused on quality in all they do, with fine attention to detail and excellence.

What an amazing experience. The two NAUI Free Diving instructors are insanely good at what they do! They make it really comfortable and safe for you, know matter your skill or style. We signed up for our first Freediving Course with Matt of Freediving Africa, and had an amazing time learning, pushing ourselves and accomplishing things we didn’t know we could do. We took this course to ease into Spearfishing, and also to help us feel more familiar and safe in the ocean. Safety ended up being a top priority of the course, which we were really appreciative of. We had a great time, learned a ton, and are so excited to get into the water again.We plan to join Matt’s spearfishing course in the coming months as well.Thanks so much!
