Normally buy items from here and staff r usually helpful. Today I came in to look around for developmental toys for my son. I was followed around by an attendant AND a security guard. They didn't ask if I needed help they just followed me around and watched me.I felt like a victim of profiling and im still upset about it. I didn't see any other customer being followed around like a criminal. I suggest that management invest in antitheft sensors and leave singling out and following customers around to those small shops in town.Ill shop at the Springfield branch from now on.

Staff don't know the products and are unable to offer any information and assistance. They are not very helpful as I had to request for someone to come and assist me who had no clue about a product in their store that I wanted info on (carseat). No customer service!!! Was dissapointed and went to buy the carseat from another store who were eager and willing to assist.

I had a very poor experience at Baby City at The Pavilion Mall and was very disappointed with their services. The lady working at the door was very rude, very unprofessional as well. I bought an item without knowing that the person i was buying it for has already purchased it and returned within 30minutes of purchasing it and later found myself very bemused as to why they don’t do refunds and gave me some gift card instead. They were not the nicest people either and I’m never buying anything from them again ......

Extremely disappointed with the sort of customer service provided. I asked for help with the options of formula and was told “don’t ask me, I won’t know, speak to your doctor”. A very rude arrogant elderly man at the baby city branch. How do you speak to anyone like that. I will not be shopping there again!!!

By far the best service from the 3 stores that are in Durban, Baby City Pavilion your staff are well trained and have vast knowledge on the products. Must mention Dumi, who explained the differences in products and demonstrated the functions. Keep up the excellent work, will drive to Baby City Pavilion even though it's not the closest branch.
