Vovo Telo Bakery & Cafe
Vovo Telo has been our go-to breakfast / lunch spot in the V&A Waterfront for a few years now. I've always experienced excellent service, incredibly fresh and tasty meals with a range of healthy options. Their coffee is one of my favorites!

Great meal! The photos don't do justice to the taste we had experienced. The restaurant got busier as we ate our meal over the lunch time. Unfortunately the coffee was not good. After joking that we have had the best coffee at Pauline's it was a disappointment to have a Vovo Telo cup of coffee. Once again the food was great!

We had coffee and hot chocolate earlier. These were very nice. Stopped there for a light lunch in the form of one beef and one chicken prego roll which were very tasty. The coffee for lunch seemed to take ages to arrive. Would try there again.

Vovo Telo Bakery & Cafe
We were here yesterday and not completely satisfied. The coffee was good/okay but the Pasteis de Nata were burnt on the top and still cold/frozen in the lower part. Also the creamy part was not as creamy as we know it from Portugal, so we didn’t like them that much. Since we were not so happy we decided to give only ~7% tip and waited for our change but the waitress just kept everything (tip was then ~13%). The view is nice though.

Had the most amazing breakfast sitting on their lovely terrace. excellent service and great breakfast. Got the french toast with berries and it was divine

Nice terrace but truly horrible food. Breakfast brioche is a just a hamburger bun with scrambled eggs, the waffles were flat, dry and uneventful and the ginger mint thee (I think it’s called immune boost) was so strong I couldn’t drink itCape Town has the best food in the world. It’s such a pity to ruin a meal by going to one of these Waterfront placesAlso the service was pretty bad. The food came before the drinks, you have to walk 10 minutes into the mall to use the restrooms and the waitress was trying to coerce a tip out of us

I went here with family of varying ages, we all enjoyed the food and atmosphere, however I will excuse the service as it was quite packed and it seemed they were short on staff (from the looks of it). Overall though, it was a good experience the hot-chocolates was an amazing size for price, although their beer selection is limited, it's understandable as it generally isn't a place where you'd expect to drink alcohol, however their cocktails are well done as well.

Food is bland and tasteless. Food delivery was slow and the kitchen forgot one of our orders despite the restaurant being relatively empty.
