Their administration services are very poor. They are unable to keep track of clients records and do not communicate with each other. I always have to send in proof of payment every month to different people calling me about outstanding payment despite having done so multiple times. I even received a message from a lady called Tracy telling me that my lease would be canceled the next day if I don’t pay outstanding rent. I had no knowledge of this outstanding rent so when I called to ask her about it she was very rude and hung up on me. I called again she said I was pretending not to know what the outstanding amount was. I had to send all proof of payments that I made since engaging with them and there was no response on the day. Tracy called me the next day telling me that she found a proof of payment from a colleague and that there are no outstanding balances, she was very condescending in her response and said I should be happy that my lease won’t be canceled anymore and hung up once again. She didn’t even give me a chance to speak. I’m very disappointed in their service and I never been so disrespected over someone else’s mistake that they refused to acknowledge even when they could tell they were wrong.

I was a tenant in a property managed by Gaylin estates for a period of 5 years. In that time, I found them to be unfailingly efficient, courteous, and respectful in all transactions. Lease extensions were negotiated in good faith and in good time by my primary contact Liesl. Maintenance queries were dealt with expediently by the maintenance team and I could always call to discuss anything about my account. I would highly recommend them.

The service I’ve been experiencing or rather lack thereof has been astounding. The property I stay in has had a cockroach problem since I moved in, I was able to keep them at bay for a time, but the resurgence has been intense, I made the agent aware of it and I was told to spray doom in the corners of my apartment. I had previously taken it upon myself to try and rid the place of the pests, however, it is becoming costly and I requested that they do a proper fumigation as the whole building is infested. I’m embarrassed by one of the responses I received from an agent in which she sent a picture and said the whole of South Africa is going through it, that is no way to treat the people you are servicing. The only time they get back to you is if you owe money or if you need to renew your lease, other than that they take forever to respond to you. Good day,I am very happy with the services I received from Eugene Naidoo. He made time for me to show me all the places until I found a perfect home for my family. Gave me options and discussed with me with an open heart and mind what my options are available for me. I have been here in Lion Ridge for 4 months now and I am very happy. Anytime I have a query Iam able to find him, he makes time to listen and give advice. Thank you very much Eugene you are for the hard work and being considerate all the time. I had a great experience so far and I am Grateful for your services.

I was assisted by a Michelle Ackerman. Quite the rude one. Speaks over you and doesn't listen. Will only tell you that rules are rules and nothing further.Raised her voice towards the end of my call which led me to hang up. Not accommodating and actually felt like she wanted me to cancel my application. Which I did.

If I could give Gaylin estates a Minus star rating I would! Firstly as a rental company, their services were not transparent at all. Dealing with Melene Van Der Westhuizen and Andries Ver Mark. They are in cahoots with one another and always trying to screw the client. From manipulating photos on closing inspection and trying to get every last cent out of the client to doing shady things like trying to get two quotes from the very same company with additives on the bill. Don't waste your time with sly people in this company. In the beginning they can be very charming until they've got you locked in and find every way to disrespect you.

She always gave quick responses and did her best to assist me all the way through the process. Thank you, Iwani, for all your help! Greatly appreciated

Hi guys please do not deal with gaylin. They just go and renew leases with your tenants with out your approval. They made my tenant renew a rental which I was not aware of. The then took the money from my tenant and made my tenant pay into there account. I have tried to reach out to them but no response. The agent doesn't take my calls. I phoned in to speak to the management also still response. I managed my property on my own for a whole year. They then come back with a clause in the contract which states that after a year the will renew it. I have not initialed next that clause. Please be careful u mighht be the next victim. I only found out about this company when I read all the bad reviews on Google and hello Peter. Now they have my money and I have a renewed contrat which I have not signed and tenants staying there with out my approval

The agents are not responsible people, they destributed my personal information without my permission, and lost the photos of the apartment. Extremely unprofessional and passive aggressive behavior. Also they stole my deposit.
