Completely discussed by this place. If zero stars could be possible that is what they would get. The service they give here is discussing. When wanting to move the decided they charge us extra for the 2 day's that we have been waiting for them to do their job by supplying us the the paperwork requested from the beginning. When trying to contact them either they do not answer their phones or they come up with stories. It cost us to come all the way to their office and then it gets worse by the second. Do not recomend them at all. Avoid at all cost.

Terrible place... They don't return calls, don't let you know what has happened to your loved ones... One would expect an undertaker to have a little more empathy during a difficult period. If I could rate it a zero, I would...

What terrible service. The father of my children passed on 4 weeks ago and due to us being in a different province we were advised by Avbob to use Gillys Funeral Directors as they could not help us. The body was collected. It is now 4 weeks later and i cant get hold of them. Was given a quote via email. there is only one number listed and that is a cell number. they do not answer emails or phone calls. This is by far the worst service ever as it is 4 weeks later and no responce. Now we will need to drive to JHB to physically go and see what is going on. AVOID THEM BY ALL MEANS :(

We used gillys funerals after avbob has referred us to them for the burial of my mother in law, although there were a few hiccups, I can definitely say they went out of their way for an outstanding service. Thank you Daniel.
