Carl's Coffee Roastery

Don't waste your time supporting Carl's Coffee, they to date - from 27th Nov 2020, have not had the decency to explain to me why my family was denied service. Simply ignored. There are many cafe's, that are far more inclusive.

As a Supplier of coffee bags to Carls Coffee, it is annoying that they do not pay there Suppliers. Months and months pass with no payments and no explaination? If someone from Carls Coffee can phone us to do the payment urgently.

Shop was supposed to open at 6:30am, but opened at 7:20 instead, and then had no power. They had to walk to go buy petrol for the generator, so we ended up waiting still.We were the first customers by at least 20 minutes and we stuck around. Our coffee was ordered first, but we only received it after 2 other customers were served their coffee. Our order was not big (2 x cappuccinos and 2 muffins), and should have been served first. I'm not happy with their service.

Very friendly and food is fresh and delicious. You get personal treatment.

Maybe it is my personal taste. I first taste their coffee 3 years ago in Kilner Park. I bought a bag of their roasted coffee beans immediately. 3 years later, I had a few cups of their coffee again in Centurion. I suddenly realise that their coffee is so smooth compare with others nearby, and the reason why I like their coffee since 2017. I really commend to pay them a visit.

Nice place to get together for a early coffee, open from 6h00 in the morning. Early risers this is the place. Various coffee blends. Worth a visit.

I’ve had better cups of Ricoffy…I ordered a short flat white because i wanted a strong taste without too much milk.What i got was a boiling hot cup of milk with ZERO foam and a faint coffee taste.I asked about the foam and the barista said no a flat white doesn’t have foam. But she’ll add some for me. Which she did.When i drank it i burnt my tongue as it was way too hot.I can’t say much about the coffee other than it wasn’t strong enough for the boiling cup of milk.My advice to the owner is:1. Train your staff on the proper techniques for each type of coffee drink makeup2. Get proper barista milk3. Learn how to make microfoam.“A flat white is a coffee drink consisting of espresso with microfoam (steamed milk with small, fine bubbles and a glossy or velvety consistency). It is comparable to a latte, but smaller in volume and with less microfoam, therefore having a higher proportion of coffee to milk, and milk that is more velvety in consistency – allowing the espresso to dominate the flavour, while being supported by the milk.”

Very bad. Ordered a cappuccino today and it tasted like tobacco. Had to throw it away. Sadly, R35 down the drain.

Love the atmosphere. Not too busy at 10am. The couches were comfy and the medium roast coffee crusher was delightful!! Thank you!
