Boubou Bed and Breakfast

How nice it is to come home from work, to a clean, comfortable and very well managed place. To be cared for and feel free at the same time. Boubou Bed and Breakfast is exactly such a place! Far from the noisy city, away from the hustle and bustle. With a beautiful, well kept garden, clean rooms with a comfortable bed, and all the beauties are in the details. It gives a feeling of being at home away from home. We were welcomed by smiling Marnice and Jan -Piet as though we were old friends, and we had a special dinner made by them. Such a warm welcome! Waking up in the morning , having a nice breakfast while listening to birds chirping, seeing animals coming so close to the fence, watching them and relaxingThank you for everything and hope to see you soon

Absolutely outstanding B&B experience. Can't fault it. Lovely building with a pool on the African bush surrounded by Impala and Nyala. The hosts were very welcoming and we had a good chat and glass of wine in the afternoon as the animals were feeding. To top it off we had a delicious traditional South African dinner prepared fresh for us. All this for at a great value price. Only disappointing thing was we were staying one night as we were passing through to head off on Safari. Highly recommended.

The peace and the tranquility it's amazing. Nice and quiet environment for a peaceful weekend, surrounded by bushes, bird sounds in the morning. The view from the terrace is amazing, the rooms are clean and very nice. The food was delicious Marnice is a great cook. The hospitality is excellent Marnice and her husband are very welcoming, they make you feel at home while you are far away from home. Thank you.for taking care of my husband and I. Noluthando.

Wonderful stay. All the credits goes to Mary as she was so helpful,friendly and a good cook. We really enjoyed our stay. The place is really clean, smells fresh and has the greatest view of the wild life and a beautiful garden and a clean beautiful swimming pool.

Very nice place to stay. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very nice. Beware: the owner has dogs, of you don't like dogs, this place is not for you.

An experience like no other! Extremely helpful and friendly owners and staff. Great views of wildlife passing by and a birdwatching paradise. Rooms are as tidy as can be with excellent beds and bathrooms. Food is divine as well. 10/10 would reccomend

Our stay at Boubou Bed and Breakfast was one of the most pleasant experiences we have ever had in our vast travels. The location is serene and peaceful, and is a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Jan-Piet and Marnice welcomed my wife and I like old family, and we felt immediately at home. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, and the meals are simply fabulous! We will absolutely be visiting again!

Absolutely fabulousThis wonderful B and B is just perfect. Marnice and JP are brilliant hosts and we loved every minute of our four night stay. The grounds are superb and there are so many places to sit. The bird life is extraordinary, the rooms are very comfortable and the food delicious.However the thing that sets Bou Bou apart was the welcome from two people who obviously love running their B and B. We felt we arrived as guests and left as friends. When we next come to SA this will definitely be our first stop.And as an extra bonus Pilanesberg Game Reserve is not far away and is excellent.

Bou Bou is a really fantastic place, a little out of town in a nice a quite area, you wake up to the sounds of birds chirping. The place is very well maintained, and super clean ,with a pool that just outside your room if you pick the right room. You can see a lovey view of the area from just outside the dinning area the is a Tower with a dining area wear you can chill play games with friends and family. Last but not least the host are just a lovey couple Marnice and Jackie they are very warm and welcome and not to engaging as to make you feel uncomfortable. One thing to note though the is no restaurants or near by shops in the area, you mite need to go to town to get food, so you mite want to place your meals upfront. and ohhh the breakfast was exquisite.Note! The Name of the place is pronounced boo boo "and is named after Marnices' favorite bird. Jackie is a bird photographer and you will have access to his beautiful collection"

Warm and friendly welcome from our very helpful host. The room was comfortable with coffee/tea making facilities as well as a bar fridge and microwave. The en suite bathroom was spotless and well equipped.There was a great variety on offer for breakfast - all delicious.This was home away from home for me!
