Margate Mini Coach & Airport Services

First time using this coach service as Southern shuttle was full. Bus was scheduled to leave at 2 from the pickup point as advertised and I had left to ensure I arrived 15 minutes before the departure time. Phoned in to let them know I was running slightly behind schedule (was predicted to arrive at 1:50ish) and was met with the most unhelpful unpleasant staff member Jenny. If you don't arrive by 10 to 2 we will have to leave."I was shocked by how unfriendly

Terrible service!!On the 11/03/2023; the bus was meant to depart King Shaka at 18h30.We tried calling 3min before 18h30; no one bothered to answer our calls. 18h32 when we got to the bus station; the bus had already left.

As someone who has used and recommended Margate Coach on many occasions. Always receiving good service from the drivers. I was very disappointed with the customer service I received when requesting to change my reservation.While in Europe, unexpected events left me with no choice but to change all my travel plans. This included changing my reservation with Margate Coach. The email I received from Ronnie Prinsloo stated:Good dayThank you for your enquiry

I used they about 3 tines now. Very nice and friendly. Clean bus . And safe to travel with them. And get you on time for flights from King shaka Airport.

Very pleasant driver. Very convenient to use the Margate coach when going to the airport, takes away all the stress of looking and paying for parking at the airport. I highly recommend using this service.

Not very accommodating or willing to assist customers in any way. unfortunately not much difference between the various shuttles operating on the south coast as I have tried both Margate coaches and southern shuttle. Coaches themselves are ok not bad considering the roads they travel on. In short if I had a choice I wouldn't book with them but they know that people have few to no options and have a take it or leave it mentality. As an example I needed to change a booking they only credit you, that credit is only valid 2 months and can only be used for the exact same trip if they at least allowed you to change direction people might be able to use their credit. In addition to the lack of being able to change the booking they add additional charges.

My date of travel was 26 June 2023. Time 10.11am. Traveled from South Coast(Trafalgar) to KZN International Airport.Traumatized passenger.Excessive speeding and vehicle in a bad condition...possibly not in a roadworthy condition.I will certainly not use Margate Shuttle service.

The customer service is terrible. Quite disturbing in fact. The driver was a grumpy old man who answered literally every question with impatience, anger and sarcasm. It was the first time I used the shuttle and I will only use this company again if I'm desperate. After the driver was so rude to a client who asked to jump off at Shelly Centre because her phone battery had died (and she could no longer communicate with the person who was meant to pick her up) one of the passangers consoled the lady and said this was just he way the customers are treated by this company. He said he uses the shuttle services often and that all of the drivers are rude. It felt like the driver was doing us a favour by transporting us.

Super service from staff. Very helpful and eager to advise and recommend. Have used them before and always impressed with the drivers and the way they drive. Felt safe with them. Highly recommended.
