The food and service was amazing with amazing iconic views of Kruger park. It gets quite hot in the sun so make sure you stay hydrated and sit under an umbrella, which there is plenty of. Lovely experience. Defnitely would come back for more.

One of two main restaurants in Skukuza camp overlooking the river. We went twice and both times were underwhelmed by the steaks. Food comes out cold/lukewarm and very little flavour. Chicken wings were bad. The station restaurant in skukuza camp is a much better option and my wife enjoyed the Asian chicken salad there immensely.

The restaurant was busy on a Saturday afternoon, had great service. The menu had variety with springbok shank being popular. They also offer a buffet if preferred. Had steak though was a bit overcooked for medium rare but had flavour. There is a takeaway kiosk of light meals and drinks for those on the go or who want to sit by picnic benches closer to the Sabie River,a small play area for children with swings. The restaurant has inside seating and extends over large deck overlooking the Sabie River.

The buffet breakfast used to be something to look forward to. Now the price increased, there is less variety and it excludes omelettes, coffee, tea or juice. We especially asked for fresh fried eggs, but it was cold and slimy. The general manager was here, but didn't care enough to address the problems.

This was our first stay in Skukuza after staying in Pretoriouskop previously. We had a selection of dinner and breakfast. All of it was delicious and very reasonably priced. To be fair all but one steak I’ve had in SA have been excellent, and that one that wasn’t was at Spur. The meals at the Cattle Baron are very good, and the complimentary spinach/butternut squash was delicious too. It was all excellent. Can’t wait to come back again.

Service was fast, the Classic is what I ordered. The pork sausage was some of the best I had, 0 gristle. Bacon and single hash brown were “as expected”, and the eggs were cooked exactly as I ordered. The jam for the bread was really, really good. Not sure the flavor, but maybe apricot?

Stopped for breakfast during our game drive. A hearty breakfast. My scrambled eggs came on top of my toast and I would have preferred it separated as the toast got soggy. They had a breakfast buffet but that would have been too much.

The food was terrible. Cheap simple ingredients cooked in a lazy way, and they are charging premium restaurant prices, which I think is insane. Definitely not being held to a standard by anyone who has eaten a good meal.My steak was grainy, and the food was cold. My mom's chips were cooked twice and stale.
