Sabi River Sun Resort

Superb resort close to Kruger Park and natural attractions like Bourke's Luck Potholes. The gardens and golf course are immaculately attended to. The hippo pool and birdLife are a delight even the cheeky monkeys. The staff are very attentive and helpful, a high five to the entertainment team.

We stayed at the hotel, not at the self catering units. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very small though. The dinner buffet menu was very disappointing. If you don't eat beef and pork, your options are very limited with regard to meat dishes. The head chef was unfriendly and always seemed angry. The waitresses were very pleasant and helpful. The assistant manager was very helpful, pleasant, accommodating and eager to please.It is well located, being a 20 minute drive to the Kruger National Park.

Great Buffet, the options are delicious. Must have gained 5kg from the 2 nights spent here. They had raw salmon on starters and great options for protein, and dessert. Excellent customer service from security at entrance, to reception to dinner. The garden & pool area are very clean. Will definetly return for a vacation.

Great place for work, relaxation and apparently for golf as well.We hosted a 5 day workshop. Service was excellent and the staff very accommodating and helpful. Everything we required was supplied.Ate way to much! Special requests for some attendees were executed and delivered with a smile. Even an entire lunch menu adjustment.Next time, I prefer going there to chill!

Very peaceful, well appointed, friendly staff. There is hippo activity (cordoned off so safe) to go watch at sunrise and sunset. It ia also close to the Kruger park gate, where we saw an abundance of wildlife. We stayed in the self catering chalets so can't comment on the hotel

Really nice rooms, but they can upgrade the maintenance a bit. (Toilets and bath plugs leaking water) Garden are beautiful and well maintained. All staff is friendly. Restaurant buffet is delicious.Location is central to a lot of tourist attractions.

You can't fault this venue. Beautifully positioned outside Hazeyview. Magnificent grounds and golf course. Accommodation pristine, spacious with everything you cld possibly need. Great service, very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Our chalet overlooked a large Dam with back to back entertaining Hippo and a huge abundance of incredible birdlife. Early morning walks, 10 mins drive into Kruger. Afternoon bowls and a sundowner on the terrace. Total relaxation.

Love this place. If you love to golf this is the place for you. If not there will still be something for you to enjoy. The Chalets are great and the greens have improved drastically over the last two years since they had their issue with the company who did their hollow tining incorrectly. Beautiful place.

The resort is beautiful. We had hippos right outside our window the entire stay. We considered purchasing time share, but by day 3 we were put off by the following events; the children’s club does not provide the activities or services they advertise. We often waited 15-40 minutes and had to go find staff to start the activities. The pool area was left unclean and filled with bottles, food plates, rubbish. This attracted a lot of flies. The food at the restaurant is below a beaver and the variety of food is bad. Food is frozen. Staff are not accommodating. Asking for a menu or to order a drink was a chore for them. Very little interest. I asked to purchase a bag of popcorn at the entrance on our 4th day and was told it’s only for welcoming guests. I said I was offering to pay for a bag….it was now late in the day and the popcorn was getting stale, the reception staff just stared at me.Cleaning staff for the chalets were great. The resort space, aesthetics and location were lovely.
