We’ve had the pleasure of knowing the team at Aphrodite Diamonds since 2004 when, on the recommendation of a friend, we bought our engagement ring. Since then we try and visit the shop every time we are in Stellenbosch (from the UK) and over the years have purchased more beautiful jewellery and commissioned some lovely pieces. Herman and Wynand are knowledgeable, professional and friendly…. It’s like visiting friends these days. We can’t recommend highly enough.

What a great experience! From finding a beautiful necklace in the shop to having an old family heirloom remodeled - it was so much fun working with Herman and Anneliese. Their knowledge and skill made us feel very at ease and comfortable leaving a valued heirloom with them. Herman would listen to our ideas of changing the ring and brought in much appreciated input on how to make something old look more modern without changing the entire character of the ring.Besides their skill and professionalism (tax returns, insurance valuation) they made us feel like family. The shop was an unexpected find - and we will return 100%. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you both and see you again!

My wife and I were on holiday in the Western Cape and we wanted a pair of earrings as a special birthday present. We had done quite a bit of looking for these earrings and thank goodness we found Annelize at Aphrodite Diamonds in Stellenbosch. Her service was excellent, she went out of her way to get us what we wanted and we were very pleased with the price. Well worth a visit if you want a special diamond. Small operation family run business and well worth a trip from Cape Town. Thank you Annelise.
