Garden Shed Restaurant
First restaurant in South Africa and we really enjoyed it! Original recipes with the local game that are delicious; ostrich and crocodile!The wine house (we took the white and the red) were more than decent and the banana baked ice cream with butter was super good.Cosy decoration that resolves around several fire places... We left full and at peace ✌️

Amazing Mix of Local and Traditional FoodsDanny K was an incredible host at this nice lunch location. Food was amazing with the right mix of spicy and traditional for us.We had the ostrich and zebra fillet oth were exceptional. Highly recommend for anyone traveling in the area for a mix of local and traditional done well.The best restaurant in Graskop!We would recommend going there 100% and if we ever have the chance to eat there again we’ll definitely do so!

Such a great find! The restaurant is quaint, with a beautiful outdoor setting.Food was all really good, best chicken livers I’ve ever had and the samoosa was excellent too. The service was great, very helpful waiter called Solly. Pizza was very tasty, can definitely recommend even if you are looking for a take awayThe only downside was that they didn’t have any beers or wine when we went, so perhaps bring your own (they were happy for us to do so).

Our panorama route guide took us to this amazing game meat restaurant where everything was just perfectly cooked and savory ! This place really is a gem and was by far our best south african food experience during our stay ! Would 100% recommend :-)

The atmosphere and vibe of this restaurant were truly remarkable as we entered, prompting a unique and pleasant experience - this, however, was not the case.We waited over an hour for our food to arrive, beers were warm, and some food items were forgotten entirely. What we thought would be a quick dinner turned into a 3 hour affair.Only one waitress was serving the entire restaurant, and the front desk lady was not very helpful.This restaurant has so much potential, but it is not managed well - leading to a terrible experience. Food was good though.If you have up to 3 hours to spare for slow food and service, this is the place for you. Otherwise, not worth the wait.

We ate the chicken burger & chips. It was proper. Chicken breast was braaid over the fire & real potato chips. Their curries also looked delicious

Garden Shed Restaurant
We had a group of 9, and it took maybe 45 min to get our food. They are cooking it outside on the grill and it smells wonderful! If you are looking for faster food go to McDonald’s. The atmosphere is relaxing. Server was very kind. We tried ostrich, crocodile, and zebra. They were all cooked really well. Main dish was Grilled chicken. Loved it. Highly recommend if you are passing thru!

Arrived here by a recommendation from our host.It was a walking distance from the place we were staying at and it was safe to walk there.The place itself is really beautiful, both the outdoor garden and the interior.They have a restaurant and a pub to choose from.We sat indoors in the restaurant and it was such a great experience!The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the drinks were tasty and the overall experience was exceptional.We were the only people that evening which surprised me but it was like a private event so we only gained :)

We had a very good meal here on a chilly winter night. The potjie was delicious, as was the malva pudding, and the prices were reasonable. The wait staff took good care of us.

The crocodile was perfectly cook and tasted devine. Ostrich was good too. Nice location, attentive staff, great selection.
