BE WARNED!!!I paid R81 000.00 to fix my car just te get it back with 4 scratches and dents, excessive oil leaks, blown turbo, high fuel consumption, electrical problems, faulty starting, smoking and best of all the mechanic sat in my car with his oil-drenched overall and greasy hands . As you can imagine my seats had oil stains and oily hand prints wherever he touched the interior of my vehicle.SAC mechanics and owner have absolutely no respect for themselves nevermind the customer and their vehicles. The owner and the mechanic will lie to your face with a smile . They will do unauthorized work on your vehicle and god knows what else .Just with the pathetic workmanship on the outside of my vehicle and all the problems it has now i dont even want to know how my engine looks on the inside . Their workmanship is very poor and i do not recommend anybody taking a vehicle there .Pay R81 000.00 just to get my vehicle back with more problems than what it was sent in for .BE WARNED!!!

Im using these guys to service all my vehicles (Isuzu, Chevrolet and Hyundai) and so far they have given me excellent service.They even added a unichip to my slightly older model Isuzu and kept it until they where happy that I wouldnt have issues with it later down the road (well worth the longer wait, my Cab has more vooma but has also returned to the best fuel consumption Ive seen in years).

Very happy with Leon,top class job done on a a very unusual sports car of mine,wasn't easy to work on but they did a fantastic job.Sending my other vehicles there this week.

I was visiting my sister in Alberton and my car would not start. As I am not from the area I checked Google and so thankful Steve's was the first option to pop up. Even through they were closed (28th December) Eugene came out to the mall I was stranded at, went and bought me a new battery and replaced it and got me going. Best service by far! Thank You

SAC Alberton performed unauthorised work on my son's Audi A3 - this is in contravention with Section 15 of the Consumer Protection Act.The owner, Leon admitted in writing to us that he lied about replacing the diesel pump.This is in contravention of the Core of the Consumer Protection Act namely: FRAUDULENT CONDUCT AND UNFAIR, UNJUST AND IMPROPER TRADE PRACTICES.The owner of SAC Alberton also refuses to return the 'old parts' which were 'replaced' so that we as consumers can have peace of mind that the work parts were actually replaced.Mr. Leon Engelbrecht claims that he has discarded of the old parts as 'scrap metal'.This is in contravention with Section 55 of the Consumer Protection Act.Some parts fitted by SAC Alberton are defective.This is in contravention with Section 55 of the Consumer Protection Act.Leon also constantly threatened us with 'expired warranty' on the work done by them. This is whilst we had the Audi returned to SAC Alberton a myriad of times over a period of 8 months.The 'expired warranty' hoax is in Contravention of Section 56 as well as Section 57 of the Consumer Protection Act.My son's Audi A3 incurred scratches and dents whilst in the possession of Steves Auto Clinic. Leon admitted that these damages were 'accidentally' caused by his mechanics. The Audi also had oily hand prints an reeked of oil and grease inside.This is in Contravention of Section 54 of the Consumer Protection Act.The Audi A3 was extremely fuel efficient prior to Leon doing unauthorised work on the injectors multiple times.The Audi A3 now has excessive oil leaks and is emitting a lot of smoke which it did not do prior to SAC Alberton working on the vehicle.After collecting the Audi from SAC Alberton, the engine warning light is now permanently on.As per a diagnostic report from Audi that we paid for privately, Audi confirmed that the engine warning light is on due to faulty electric wiring.I do not recommend anyone to ever take their vehicles to SAC Alberton.

They do good service also price should be better

I have had a very good experience since i started servicing my vehicles at Steves Auto Clinic Alberton. I also like the Owner....he is a great guy. Always suggesting the best possible solution for your vehicle. Ken Nkosi

What an absolute pleasure to do business with Leon. One of the few honest people left in the trade. D4D had a problem that 4 people identified as a turbo problem and in less than 5 minutes it was resolved by the man himself. Thank you Leon.

Service here is absolutely atrocious! And there is a severe lack of integrity.They wanted to bill 1.5 hours labour to open 2 bolts and then lied about work involved. When I called them out on that the owner got upset tried to insult me even using racial implications as apparently my type only drive ‘Nissan bakkies’.I asked them to leave my car after which they proceeded to ‘not damage’ anything. The owner kept making jokes in Afrikaans where him and his workers collectively laughed.Never use these ……..I would never thought SAC would encourage a workshop like this to be part of the franchise.
