Will never ever recommend anyone to go here. Went in yesterday, they told me the steering pump needs to be replaced its gonna cost me R5200. They said it was original mercedez parts, spoke to Jason and prosper was the mechanic, even got a the best I can do price"

Customer service varied from day to day. I visited a total of 6 times either to drop off, collect or just pop in to check status, some days i got greeted other days i stood waiting to be assisted even after being acknowledged. I had my rack reconditioned because it was leaking fluid, after paying and leaving to get my alignment done i lost power steering which resulted in me having to drive back the next day without fluid. They acknowledged a clip or seal had come off and repaired it again, after that i had intermittent loss while cornering. When returning i was told the valve was busted and its my fault for driving the car without fluid and they refused to take responsibility, i recall being told but is it leaking

Stay a away from Roy's power steering repairs they replaced bushes in power steering rack after a month the rack started to leak fluid which it never did before then the following month the steering rack started having the same issues it went in for. Pathetic work ethic and refusal to take ownership over the poor work they did and expect you to pay again to remove the rack so they can fix the mess they caused.

Terrible service. my car left them with more problems than it go there with. when I asked them how it's possible that my car can't even drive anymore after having driven it to them they say that it should be checked by a different Mechanic. stay away at all costs.

BEWARE! 2 racks serviced - both failed almost immediately - both returned and completely redone" - failed again - then a call from another service provider to say he had the racks and had fixed them - both had not been assembled or tested - hecorrected and they working great - but I had to pay him too - so backup is ZERO and 0 Fuchs given"

Took my Jeep in to get the steering rack reconditioned. Got it back the same day. It feels like new. I'm actually surprised how many niggles have disappeared and how smooth the ride is after the fix. Very happy. Thank you for the service.

Took a friend's VW Polo there today to get a quote on a reconditioned steering rack. They quoted a price that was quite fair and that includes installation. I will report on how it went once she had the work done. For now, the initial impression was good. After all, someone left a Merc costing almost 2 million bucks in their care - which is a good sign! Update: the Polo's power steering was refurbished meanwhile and the car was ready within three hours. Pricing was excellent as the quote was a fixed price, nothing added later.4 years later, deep into 2020, the Polo's power steering is still good after the remanufacturing in 2016. I can honestly recommend this service centre.

I was highly impressed with the customer service from the time I called them to the time that I left with my vehicle. All the possible problems were checked and a fair price was quoted. I got my car back at the time that I was told ( same day ). I definitely recommend them. Ask for Jason.

I had a power steering leak and i was told that the pipe needed to be replaced or a new one had to be made up,i then issued them with my own pipe but believed it would not fit as it came from a different car.it turned out that the pipe dit fit but i was told that it had to be modified.only 2 guys were in the workshop on the day of which 1 guy was working on my car and the other working on another customers cars..my question is who modified the pipe when only 2 guys were present and occupied.i paid 1200 to have my own pipe fitted and it was done in 3hrs.how is this possible.only 2 bolts needed to be tightened and 1 bottle of ATF.3hrs,really .very unprofessional.i do advise never to use there services

The most disgusting service I have ever had.Had my steering rack replaced, 3 weeks later all the seals blew. The owner said it is my cost to get the car back to him, which cost the same as the work done, then to do the alignment again.I had my child in my car when my steering rack failed.Do not use these people, they are disgusting and crooks.
